That works if you have a 1.0 version save in your cartridge. Having saved with an update in another console, would prompt you to install the needed updates, since HANS doesn't find them.

Alright. That's the trick. But what if people oversee and delete their save accidentally? It's not nice to play with an outdated version, neither.

Pokemon ORAS dumped from braindump is exactly 1.83GB, so it'll take up about half your SD. You probably wanna find a bigger SD card (I bought a 16GB Class 10 one the other day because I couldn't fit everything on the default one the O3DS supplies you with )
