And since you can't really see what's beyond the clearing of trees, I took a picture of that, too.

My grandmother planted just a few of these flowers... and they took off.

Also the view from the front yard's not half-bad.

Sure is a lot better than living in the city.

Post/talk (about) your yards.

That looks awesome! Great views from both front and back. I live in a small town so my front yard is pretty small. I have a decent backyard though.

Because they need room to frolic.

Anyways, my front yard has a beautiful front lawn, and the back has a... parking lot. Yeah, I don't see much for scenery living in a 3rd-floor apartment, unless you count the good looking girls walking by in their summer clothes.

i rather live in a flat in town. Like to have everything close to me, not really a garden person.
It's so nice live in a city since every store is open much longer and everything you need is some step away or a buss ride for 10 min

That's one mighty fine lawn. It looks quite a lot like my lawn(s) in France. Absolutely gorgeous. And an impeccable view at that. Boy, I sure love my lawn, though I wish it was emo.

So it would cut itself. Har har. Seriously though, because I only go to France once every holiday, the grass grows really, really high (really high being over 1.5m sometimes).

i hate lawns, people take lawncare really serious in our neighborhood and we get letters about it if i skip out on my cutting duties for a week
i think it was here on gbatemp some mathematician made some long equation about how we only have lawns to use time money and effort to make them green and lush just so we can spend more time more money more effort cutting it short

The back garden here is basically a slanted messy lawn next to a cracked and scummy path to the washing line. The only features are the shed and the little tree in the corner where the cats hide. I generally leave the back garden to its own devices. If you leave it long enough the grass seems to cut itself so I see no reason for me to get involved.

Boy, that is quite the aesthetically-pleasing yard you've got there. The only thing missing is the mellowly-orchestrated ambiance. Unless you have that, too.

Oh, and nice custom panorama, haha
