Hacking Bought my first xbox 360, 15gb, how to hack, is it easy to do?

-Torx 8 screwdriver
-Nand reader (nand-x or Jr programmer are your best bets)
-Glitch chip (I use the TX CR4 XL)
-Computer with J-runner

I got 2 phat consoles and 1 slim, the slim isn't hacked, the 2 phat ones have an xkey (i got one of the phats for free cause it did rrod and the guy wanted to get rid of it, said if i could get it fixed i could keep it, so i fixed it and kept it )
Cheap, only xkey needed, no solder and no nand writer and glitch chip needed, only drawback, you can't use arcade live games rips, can't compare with user friendly for playing your games, but xkey suxs at that even if you use the menu stuff

I can however update my dash without problem and haven't been banned, but i do not play online stuff, my lan cable is diconnected from it, only plug it in to update my dash, after i read that it's safe on different forums.

If you don't like soldering or you don't want to tamper around, just play your game rips, then go for the xkey, if you like to tamper around and like the extra stuff jtag/rgh does, go for that

Well R-jtag too...

R-JTAG is the same as RGH.
It's just uses the RGH to boot into a old kernel that allows for the JTAG hack.

I wont be going live, just iso's as I like discs or hdd games or any 360 games that will work from hdd

They do accept game extracts and Game on Demand converts ;]
They will work on the internal drive as well ;]

I prefer everything internally, makes it easier.

What I do is buy a 1tb 2.5' hdd. Throw it in a hdd shell for phat or slim. Format the hdd via the settings. And go from there.

got a 500gb usb, but have a feeling, thats not going to cover it

I got a 500 GB in mine and it has plenty of space.
One game is roughly 6/7 gigs ;]
