Hacking BotW Region Patches

Saw on the site that shall not be names, there are different region patches for BotW even though only the Eur game release exists. Do these patches change the region of the base game and remove the update check?

I'm running the EUR game and EUR patch on a USA WiiU with no issues via Haxchi

If I run the USA patch, will that change the region to USA? Will me saves still be playable?

I would love to know that as well. My retail copy is coming and I'd rather not continue playing if I can't carry my saves over.

couldnt you just install the correct downloaded updates anyway ? i dont see were the problem is if you are allready playing it ? just carry pon getting the euro updates
