OK, so I'm probably wrong on this, but ever since I heard this music in BotW while escorting Yunobo up Death Mountain, I couldn't help but feel that I heard the music before - also during a boss battle. However, after exhausting the back catalog of Zelda OSTs, I couldn't identify it as a Zelda tune.
Then I was playing Super Mario Bros 2 (USA) today, and it hit me. I think it's a remixed version of the SMB2 boss music.
Am I crazy? Is it just a (slight) coincidence? I don't claim to have the best hearing in the world (or any musical talent), but I still think that there is a strong similarity.
So here is the "Event_BGM_RemainsFireBattle_A.bfstm" music (aka Attack on Vah Rudania):
And here is the SMB2 boss battle tune:
