I wae to install bootmii on a virgin lu65 with sm4. I load up banner bomb and the bootmii.dol it shows me the disclaimer then resets and enters nintendo mode again.

So, Virgin LU65+ 4.0 is still unhackable, and may be for a long long long time.

Disappointed.

sure why not

As you did previously.
Power on the Wii and hold the RESET Button until preloader loads.

However, now i have problem with crazy intro. The video doesn't appear. Any idea on how to fix this??

works easy, when you use the reset button to chose to system menu from bootmii screen, you just hold button like you would to load preloader normally.

edit: oops kotri already answered

Stupid question, it's okay to take the nand backup off the SD card and put the old stuff back onto it right?

Then I can put it back like this when/if I ever need it..

After installing this, is there any reason to keep preloader? (systemhacks aside)

Might actually make more sense to use StartPatch now, with this out, since StartPatch is uninstalled much much easier, and only does the systemhacks.

And by the way, did anyone else have trouble installing this using loadmii? I was using the BannerBomb with loadmii as the boot.dol, and then selected the BootMii.elf and it didn't seem to work.

I cant have bootmii.ini to work properly.

I have it like this
video=progressive
autoboot=sysmenu

But when I power on my wii the Bootmii screen comes up instead of sysmenu

As I'm at work right now I could not test it yet, but maybe the ini is case sensitive. The bootmii readme says:

VIDEO=NTSC (or PAL50/PAL60/PROGRESSIVE)
AUTOBOOT=HBC (or SYSMENU)

The system menu will boot if you don't do anything in the BootMii screen after a few seconds.

Thank you, but I waited for 1 minute and nothing happened.

Bootme: Can NOT be installed
boot1 and/or boot2 could not be read (-1)

(Wii sysmenu 4.0, updated with waninoko's sysmenu updater, The trucha signing ios's are still there)

My wii has the hackable version of boot1, so I should be able to install it.
Anyone know how to fix this :>?

Thanks,
-Ramono
