Installed BootMii. And done a backup .... all worked fine and verified backup.

Put my SD card in my PC to copy over the nand.bin.

No nand.bin on SD card. The space on the SD is taken just the file ain't showing.

Load up BootMii again and when I choose backup ..... it tells me it will overwrite nand.bin.

Just cant see the file in XP.

In XP I also have all files shown so its not that.

Any ideas??

is it hidden some how? have you got hidden files viewable? have you tried loading it with bootmii to see if its actually there?

are you looking in the right place on the sd it should be in "root\wii backup\nand.bin"

Have all files in XP viewable.

Only files I can see on the SD are in the bootmii folder .... armboot.bin, bootmii.ini and ppcboot.elf

Yet the SD card shows 528mb used space.

"have you tried loading it with bootmii to see if its actually there?"

If you mean the SD section in bootmii then no its not there.

I reformatted my SD and made a file called nand.bin .... and i can see it so i am trying to do another backup and see if i can still see it after.
