I love the bootmii menu and everything, but it's just a pain to use the gcn controller everytime to boot up the wii to the menu.

Would it be stupid to ask for a way to remove the auto boot? I don't do a whole lot to my wii and i don't plan on updating to 4.2 for a while. Is it possible to just put the bootmii boot file back on the SD card if i plan on doing anything extreme? Or should i just leave it on there and suck it up?

Nevermind i forgot i can just pop out the SD card. Let the topic die.

suck it up!!

na man, just backup the bootmii folder to your PC an erase it from your sd card.

now try it before you get flamed you flammable guy.

You could also just simply change the bootmii folder name to something else (eg bootmii1) and change it back when you need it.

I use an app called BootMii Switch to manage it. You run it from the HBC and it renames the bootmii folder to bootyou, or vice-versa.

just edit bootmii.ini.

change it to something like
bootdelay=0
autoboot=hbc(or system menu)

the screen will flash for

just use wiiexplorer from homebrew browser to rename your bootmii folder to bootmii1 or something that's what I do and there's no need to take you sd card out of your wii
