Hello,

A while ago I used YaWnD 0.1 to backup my nand and got the keys extracted as well.

I have since installed bootmii as an IOS with HBC 1.02 and broke my SDHC support.

I would like to "go back in time" to when I backed up the nand with YaWnD.

Can I use this extracted nand with bootmii's NAND restore capabililty as is??

Has anyone tried this?

I have successfully backed up and restored with the bootmii NAND backup but want to go further back in time to my old YaWnD backup.

Thanks

I seriously have searched for the method you're looking for, and I haven't found it anywhere, so you better use AnyTitleDeleter to delete the HBC1.0.2, and use the HBC1.0.1 installer to have it back to SDHC capable..!!

I have gone back to HBC 1.0.1 and SDHC remains broken. Thus I am thinking there is something else that happened when I installed BootMii as and IOS that perhaps others have not realized yet.

Or, it is one really big coincidence.

as long as it is a nand.bin file it will work

The files from the other utilities are:

wiiflash.img
keys.txt

Has anyone tried using these with BootMii, that can provide a certain yes or no? if so, with some detail/background as to why you are sure?

I'd like to avoid a $250 piece of plastic.

Thanks

One can go the tough way of getting a back up with both and binary compare the resulting images... if differences are minimal then we can say both are compatible... (there will certainly be minimal differences because of stuff changed on nand while booting and so on)

I had the same problem and the above poster is right the hackmii installers uses the same ios to install hbc 1.0.2 and dvdx mine was 60 or 61 which has sdhc compatibility thru ninty, which breaks the sdhc hack used by libogc. so any apps u have that were compiled using libogc that have dvdx capability have broken sdhc. ie ftpii all the popular emulators etc. only thing that stilL worked for me was hbb which does compile with libogc but doesn't use dvdx and geexbox which uses linux drivers for sdhc.

long story short either use anytitledeleter to delete dvdx hidden channel or remove it with the hackmii installer and reinstall with the older installer.

Excellent! hans0l0 is correct.

I just used the hackmii installer to uninstall DVDx.

Now, back at HBC 1.0.1 with emulators and HDSC cards working perfectly again. using uLoader 1.7 for microphone compatibility.

$60 for a game that's a decade old might be unheard of on PC but actually is not uncommon on consoles

especially Nintendo because they only ever lower the price of games when they do a greatest hits/platinum hits/players choice re-release

@The Real Jdbye, and the HD collections released for 7th gen consoles too

@The Real Jdbye, tbh the HD collections are more justified since they include more than just 1 game per copy
