So, for a while now (~1 year), I've been trying to install Windows on my Mac using Bootcamp, but never managed to do it. I *always* get the error "No bootable device - insert boot disk and press any key" after the Bootcamp assistant restarts my computer. I think I've tried absolutely everything; different versions of Windows (7Home Premium, 7Ultimate and (more recently) 10Home, legit and "non legit" ones), different USB keys, resetting the NVRAM and the SMC, doing a full clean Mac OS install, erasing the hidden Mac OS files on the USB,

and even trying to create a boot disc from a virtual machine...

The thing is, it doesn't only do that with Windows, but with practically every other OS as well. When I boot into the boot menu (pressing alt at startup), neither Windows, Ubuntu, or even Tails are detected...

Anyone knows to solve this problem? Thanks! :D

(By the way, my computer is a late 2011 MacBook Pro (8,1) running Mavericks or El Capitan)
