Hacking Boot issue

Hi,

I have modded my wii and all is working fine, but can i get it to boot to the system menu instead of the Bootmii menu, it would be easier when my little un trys to play it.

I have searched and cannot seem to find a solution.

The nearest I got was;

If BootMii is installed as boot2, you can make BootMii autoboot to the system menu or Homebrew Channel after a specified number of seconds of inactivity by altering sd:/bootmii/bootmii.ini by adding or changing the following lines (in particular, note the lack of the # character):

• AUTOBOOT=HBC (or SYSMENU)
• BOOTDELAY=5 (or any other number)

I assume I don't have it installed as boot2, as i can't see the files mentioned above.

any solutions?

try removing the SD card and turn on your wii and check if it boots to system menu and reply back

Thanks for the reply, i did remove it and it boots to the sys menu, but i need to then reinsert it to use the loader etc, I'm trying to get round it so it's easy for my 6 year old to use it

I asked you to do that just for confirmation, now insert the sd card in your pc and backup the bootmii folder and put it somewhere safe and then delete it from your sd card. thats all

if you leave the bootmii file in the sd card it will always boot that instead

1 more Q, is there a way to get the games as channels instead of accessing them via the loader?
