Hacking Boot emunand on N3ds with O3ds

I just downgraded my n3ds, only to find all of my eshop games will not work on sysnand, however, i heard this is fixed on emunand. Of course i search up how to boot gateway on N3ds, only to find that it needs a flashcart on N3ds. I realized though however, that i have booted gateway on my o3ds that i used for spare L button parts. So my question is this.....

Would i be able to boot gateway on my 4.5 o3ds, install the Oot exploit, and use that on the n3ds to boot into gateway and install emunand and get my games back?

You don't need a Gateway for emunand. Too much to put in a single post, but please look up tutorials for installing CFW on n3ds.

Also, many guides will tell you to use Gateway's launcher to setup emunand, but that's possible now using Emunand9.

I deleted everything off of my sd card except for the emunand9 tool stuff, I ran the emunand9 tool, it formatted the sd card. I put my content back onto the sd card, and...... The only difference i see is the tool crashes. What?

You can boot gateway from the home brew menu with browser hax. Gateway has a 3dsx to boot from home brew menu.

aright im installing the emunand. Already made a nand backup.

nothing. I clicked format sd card for emunand or whatever it was, and no difference. When i boot into classic mode it freezes. Am i missing something?

Just boot gateway normally for emunand. After creating an emunand I find its best to reboot because it's always crashes for me first time

crashed again...... And what do you mean boot gateway normally? If you mean boot into gateway i cant because obviously i dont have the cart, so all that's left is classic mode. It worked on my broken o3ds, so why is this happening? Anything to do with it being a new3ds? I cant call it a coincidence that both emunand9 and gateway classic both crash.

You can't boot gateway without the cart on this launcher no. You need to set up cfw. Find a thread for that on here.

It took so long, but i got rxtools to coldboot, but when i boot it it freezes on "press any key to continue". The next time i try i blackscreen, then i got loading rxtools please stand by for 10 minutes after choosing boot rxmode, now it black screened twice. WTF?
