Hacking Bookworm Errcode -4

I get errcode -4 when trying to load Bookworm (U) .. I have tried DMA and non-DMA to no avail. Any known workarounds?

Using a genuine TTDS (regular, not i) with the 1.17a12 OS

Back up your games/saves/homebrew/media/etc and format your card with the Panasonic SD formatter.

It seems most of the errcode -X can be fixed with a format.

Bookworm was a rom that was having issues with all cards, not just the DSTT.

I can attest that reformatting and getting a clean version of the firmware does not fix this error. We'll most likely have to wait for an unofficial firmware update.

if im not mistaken... Bookworm is a DSi enhance game... so thats why it wont boot

Bookworm works fine on the normal Edge card - DSTT just needs the updated firmware when it arrives....

It seems the new Popcap releases such as this and Bejeweled Twist are using a new save file system that DSTT's firmware can't cope with just yet.

They aren't DSi-enchanced, they are just available as DSiware as well, in slightly stripped down downloadable game form.
