Gaming Boktai 1 Issues

Been trying to find a way to play this on emulator, but for some reason, none of the ways I've found work. Anyone know how to get this game to work, or at least get past the "Solar Sensor is Broken" error? It's getting really annoying, the amount of stuff I tried.

No$GBA has a solar sensor option built into the settings.

I use VBA, though. And I did try no$gba, and even then, the game doesn't detect sunlight. That, and the soundquality is just horrible with no$gba.

I would just say use the nofrills patch on the Rom then...

This patch I made for Boktai 1 (E) should kill the Solar Sensor is Broken screen.
