On the trailer at 4:17, he's talking to a 'criminal associate' too, with a couple of other shady guys in the room. What with the presence of the alien too, it's quite possible he's trying to market for the game by pretending he is going through the plot of the game. Put simply, yes, we are playing Bob's Game.
Interesting thought, I wonder what he'll do next and how long it'll take him to release it now.
