Anyone remember Bob's Game? Robert Pelloni developed this RPG by himself for an application to become an official licensed DS developer, but Nintendo rejected it due to him not having a development office (it was a necessity back in the day). As a result, he started a protest mission where he attacked Nintendo online and even left a post on his website that suggested suicide.
So far he released a demo of Bob's game for DS and PC but never released the full game. Now that the big 3 like indies more he's back via Kickstarter to fund porting his game to numerous systems. More information on his kickstarter page.
