Due to a server migration








We would like to inform you that GBAtemp.net Forums will be closed for a few hours, as we are moving to a new server. We hope that acquiring a more powerful server will help address our current problems - slowdowns, crashes, SQL errors... As always when a server migration is performed, there is a delay before you can access the new server. The delay may last from minutes to days, depending on your ISP.

We apologize for any inconvenience and believe that you will understand that this is in everyone's best interest

Previous server specs:
VIA C7 2Ghz, 1 GB DDR2, 160 GB SATA2 => 35€/month

New server specs:
Pentium IV HT 3 GHz, 2 GB DDR, 250 GB SATA2... a bit better heh

but 67€/month.

Oh and we also have Wikitemp hosted on its own server (yea it requires a server of its own.. Wikis are resource consuming!). The server is just the same as the first I mentionned, so you need to add 35€/month.


We'll see how it goes. It's the first time I configure a server from scratch (Hunter did the other ones before, and the wikitemp server well I used plesk, hehe)
There will be some errors at first because I'm not familiar with named, subdomains and smtp server configurations...
