Board shorts without netting (mesh liner)

I recently received a pair of board shorts without netting (mesh liner) from here: http://www.swimwear.com.my/product_info_704001-100140.htm

Can i wear without undies inside the board shorts without netting (mesh liner)?

There is something that truly amuses me about these swimwear topics you make.

Anyway why would you not be able to wear underwear with such shorts? Granted unless I am intending to go swimming and assuming I fancied blinding passers by (my legs have not seen the sun in decades and with the whole part ginger thing then fishbelly white would be a step up) I would probably wear underwear with lined shorts as well, unless I neglected to do washing and find myself wearing the lined shorts as underwear.
