You won't be able to download games, or access online feature once it come up, since online feature when released will require an update.

Online services launch in September this year, but there will be a required update to a later firmware to have access to the online service, you can always have wifi connection on the 4.1.0 right now, but it is different when you want to purchase and download a game on the Switch eshop, it will require you to update system firmware, currently there are no method allowing you to bypass firmware update and download games at the same time.

Just turn Wifi off. If you still want online then it is not possible. I dont care about the online so I am fine with wifi being turn off.

At this moment, use that above mentioned url to manual set your dns servers, and then you can play online. I do it with mario kart.
System updates and the eshop are blocked then.

Are you sure? Will it ever get blocked? What if i need to inatall an update?

No idea, cant look into the future ofcourse. But for now i can race online with mario kart.

The whole idea behind blocking nintendo's update servers is to not install any system updates.
If you mean game updates, i have no idea, but i guess they are also blocked. But you can change dns back, update the game(if that is independent done from system updates), en block again ofcoz.
