Hacking Block all app updates

The DNS servers provided for update blocking typically do block these updates too however the update blocked payload doesn't block app updates and this can be a serious issue. Plus the bag is annoying and this will eliminate both problems.

This change will block the app updates even when not in a jailbroken state. The only ways to restore your ability of updating apps online (should a jailbreak come for the latest firmware and you are able to use the PSN and update to the latest versions of apps) is to restore the setting you changed or simply restoring the device to factory settings should work though would be Ill adviced.

To block the updates

1 run the Mira+HEN or any HEN payload to enable debug settings.
2 open debug settings
3 go to PlayStation Network under debug settings
4. Change the setting NP environment from "np" to "invalid" (without the quotations)
5 restart the PS4
6. Profit

To unblock the updates
Change the same setting to "np" (without the quotations) that's the original setting value.

This setting for those curious controls the NP network the machine tries to connect to. It also existed in the PS3 debug settings. It can be switched between retail or "np" or a variety of QA networks though they require athentification to use them.
Or for our needs just an invalid entry which breaks the PSN access entirely thusly disabling app updates.

This already exists. App updates can be deleted directly from the download menu. No hacks needed. The system updates can be deleted using FTP to connect to the system and delete the PS4UPDATE.PUP file from the update folder.
