Homebrew Channel 1.1.2 running on IOS61
What? My Homebrew Channel is 1.1.0 and it's running on IOS58
Not sure if your Homebrew Channel is wrong... or maybe mine is wrong?
I have never seen anyone with HC installed under IOS61 but a quick google search indicates there's "nothing wrong with" but is still recommended to install Homebrew Channel under IOS58.

If you think reinstalling Homebrew Channel must be installed under IOS58, just reinstall it using this guide: https://wii.guide/

About your SysCheck... is highly outdated!
All you need is cIOS d2x and you can follow the Wii.guide to install the necessary cIOS.
Post automatically merged:

@pkers just follow whatever Wii.guide says and rehack your console.
Follow every single step to get a properly functioning Wii.

DON'T GO INSTALLING SYSTEM MENUS OR OTHER DUMB THINGS!
ALWAYS HAVE A NAND BACKUP, PRIILOADER AND BOOTMII AT ALL TIMES.

Also, here's an up to date USB Loader GX version, but again, you must do the Wii.guide hacking guide in order to use USB Loader: https://github.com/wiidev/usbloadergx/releases

Ya the HBC with IOS 61 is strange, it have to be IOS 58 as this is the basic IOS with official USB 2.0 support. And why is in every slot the Trucha Bug?! It should be no patches or stub. Like e.g. here

The cIOS in slot 248 to 251 are correct setup.
Then read, try, repeat -> USBLGX guide (i will mention before, not every drive is supported by the d2x patches in the cIOS slots).

Both the OP and @JuanBaNaNa should update their hbc. Since u both already have IOS58 you can just install denvol's hbc 1.1.5 WAD from github

Or drag and drop your syscheck.csv onto modmii.exe and it will tell you what to do. OP will have a few other suggestions based on his syscheck but nothing critical.

Is this a new hdd? Or was it at one point working on the wii?

Have you confirmed it's MBR and not GPT?

Open Homebrew Channel v1.1.4-1
Latest
equal to previous file, just corrected a wii vc mistake when selecting "no" if you want to use the gamepad it did not correctly set up the stub

Open Homebrew Channel v1.1.4
-added code based on TinyLoad to stub that allows wii vc to return to HBC when wii vc channel booter was used to initially get into HBC
-pushed OHBC version to 1.1.4
Source:
https://github.com/FIX94/hbc/releases

1.1.3

  • The channel is now open source with the source code hosted on github.
    • Not released in binary form, although Homebrew Channel 1.1.4 was released in binary form and is based on this version
  • Fixes issue with aspect ratio on vWii
  • Title ID changed (OHBC)
  • Removed scam warning screen

1.1.2

  • PAL 50Hz (576i) video mode now works properly
  • Icons load again in The Homebrew Channel

1.1.1

  • WiiU (WiiMode) compatibility
    • New title ID (LULZ)
    • Now has a proper entrypoint in the main DOL; previously, entrypoint was unset, since the Broadway always boots to 80003400, but because BC-NAND reads the entrypoint, it is now necessary to set it.

But,to. comeback to the blackscreen problem, does the fact that hbc is on ios 61 affect the usbloader to function properly?

I tried several times to mod the wii from start, but it still says hbc is on ios 61 and the wii is on ios 58.

Replacing the nand file gives an error about a possible risc of bad sd car

So, at this time, the wii is moments away from getting out the window...d...

USB Loader GX uses IOS 58 and the cIOS at the end of the slot list from 248 to 251. The fact that hbc runs on ios 61 doesnt affect the USB Loader.

From the syscheck, It doesn't look like you have Priiloader installed, i recommend inside it.
and the back ups won't play from the usb drive using USB loader GX or Wiiflow.
Is the usb flash drive formatted as Fat32 32kb cluster size, set to MBR, and has only 1 partition?
reinstalled all the apps,
Make sure you're using this version of usbloadergx, or this one (for WiiFlow_Lite).
reformatted the dvd drive to fat32
You mean the external hard drive?
and used Wii Backupmanager to load the games to the dvd drive
Check the hash of your wbfs files with WiiBackupManager, it's under "tools", to make sure they're not corrupt.
In USB loader i tried various ios setting, but nothing...
Ios249 or "default" will do.
I still don't understand what problem you're facing, exactly? Can you get the games to show in a game loader (like usbloadergx), and when you try to launch them you get only black screens? Or is it something else?

In any case you should start by installing Priiloader, as well as enabling the "Region free" hacks shown in the link.

Considering that it is a USB flash drive, when this black screen comes - have you tried waiting (literally) 5-10 minutes?

Edit: Why do I ask - there were such precedents when the games just took an epically long time to load from a particular USB flash drives.
The USB flash drives were blinking with read indicators at the time (those with such indicators).

I'm using a 500gb usb drive, with 2 partitions. It always worked fine, till i start using again on the wii after a long time.
One partions was formated for the wii games and had no problems till recent.
I have formated the wii partition with Wii backp manager and put the Wiifit plus game on it, in the wbfs folder.
So, USBloader gx does recognize the usb drive and the game.
The game shows up but after hitting start, the screen goes black.
I tried several ios, 249/250/251 but no result. i've done a factory resest several times, with priiloader and all the other stuff, but nothing changes.
