After radio silence regarding the June 2018 case between Bethesda Softworks and Warner Bros., it appears that the two companies have settled their dispute as of January 2019. The case consisted of Bethesda alleging that Behaviour Interactive's game Westworld "ripped off" Fallout Shelter, a game that Behaviour Interactive had also worked on previously. Bethesda brought both publisher Warner Bros. and developer Behaviour into the lawsuit, holding both liable. An especially integral piece of evidence showed that Fallout Shelter's code had been lifted line by line due to the fact that both games had the exact same bugs and glitches. Both parties have come to a private settlement outside of court in Bethesda's favor, with a very short press release stating the following:

Regardless of how the settlement went, both games remain available to play on their respective mobile app stores.

    Earth, bro-dude.
So Fallout 76 was an inside job?

I feel some kind of way after watching 76gb DL for an ant farm (bugs, bugs everywhere), but WB piss me off; good for Bethesda.

They are probably just getting a cut from that Westworld game now.

Both are awful companies, a good news would be both of them ending up with nothing out of this dispute.

Bethesda on the right side of the law? Now there's something you don't see everyday.

They frequently find themselves on the wrong side of lines concerning good taste, competency, decency, common sense, understanding of their market and other such virtues but I seldom see them getting the law suits fired at them, or a probe from whatever governments.

The bag fiasco was a violation of advertising laws.
And the customer info leak probably breaks a few rules too.
