I'm sure this topic has been discussed to death, but in a nutshell what's the best wi-fi adapter for the DS (and PSP)? I'd assume Nintendo's USB adapter would be the best but from the reviews about it, it works great for some people, but not so well for others. What does everyone recommend?

AFAIK, Nintendo's usb adapter only works with the DS

Id suggest getting a wireless router. I really cant give you any personal experience with any, as I have only had 1 my whole life (2wire) and have never had any problems with it

EDIT:
I can tell you that my 2Wire works with DS'es and PSP's

if anyone knows how to configure the wi-fi USB adapter Advantek AWN-USB-54M to make it work on a ds, please post it. An external web tutorial should help too.

Thanks.

Umm I see pictures, but I can't read anything all I see is ?????? ? ?? ????? ? ?? ??? ?? ? LOL Do I need to install a language pack or something?

Plus GBANinja Go to gbadev.org to learn how to turn your ROUTER/USB Wireless device unto a wifi adapter.

yeah, I've seen lots of 3rd party USB wi-fi apaters that are advertised to work with the DS and PSP, and they are 1/2 the price of the Nintendo adapter. So do you think these adapters are ok?

the pages are in Japanese sorry (>_

Well, wireless routers are usually multi-purpose and work with most wireless devices. So I'd say you'd be safe with a good Westell router or something (I have a Westell VersaLink myself). D-Link is good too.

I've only tried those two.

The Wi-Fi dongle isn't much of an option if you want PSP online, BTW.

An second hand "SAGEM XG-760N" USB dongle , with ZyDAS drivers and ZDWlan utility. Work for me ! And is a very cheap solution. :-)

Those are the same drivers and utility my Datel WiFi Max adapter uses. This thing is awesome. Homebrew wifi apps worked on it too. Easy to set up and the range is great. Plus it works on Vista, which my old wireless adapter doesnt.
