What the title says, what switch controller has the best dpad

I like to know this too but I have tested a few of them and I d say the best one I used was the Hori Split Pad Pro

I recently got the Powerwave Switch Joypad Pair Green & Red but the button has no travel you push them and they click straight away. it needs to be at least a little mushy

The Powera Wired Fusion Fightpad, Hori Fighting Commander, SNES Switch controller all have solid dpads.

My personal favorite is the Switch Pro Controller's dpad, but i can't say it's for everyone due to the somewhat spotty diagonals. Make sure to get a new Procon instead of a used one as Nintendo has continually improved the dpad year after year.

For me, the Switch Pro Controller's dpad would be perfect if was a little bigger. I like the SNES Switch controller Dpad and PS4's Dpad if you use Missioncontrol.

Any from 8Bitdo are almost 100% Nintendo-feeling, they work great. Way better than the Pro Controller for 2D games.

If you're still using joycons over a split pad pro then reconsider
