I'm trying to decide on something I can use to play my PC games around the house without having to use my TV screen. I recently have been using my tablet to stream my PC games via moonlight app and its been Fantastic but the problem is I'm limited to only my room since I use Bluetooth controllers (Wii u pro controller and DualShock 4) and the range isn't really far. What I was thinking was to get a device either a detachable controller or a whole device its self.
So far I have seen controllers that connect to your phone and can be used but I it would need to be good to use and not stiff like cheap knock off controllers.

What I was really look into was devices such as the Nvidia shield portable but those damn things are nearly extinct (most likely discontinued but Nvidia hasn't spilled the beans) and expensive but seem worth it because it can handle emulators really good. Emulation is another reason I would get this device on top of it being a function to stream.

Another device I had my eye on for a while is a weaker product in terms of specs but has a nice form factor and fits easily in your pocket like a N3DS and that device is the GPD XD. Same like the Portable shield, it too has built in controls so I could use them to play emulators and stream PC games around the house but I'm not quite sure about this system yet. Although a lot of YouTubers praise the device I have seen a couple of online forums saying other wise.

Anyone have thoughts for my situation and what I could get. Also a bit more information on what I would like e.g
•Something to possibly stream PC games from my house to my Job
•something to handle 16bit and 32bit game emulation smooth or reasonable
•Maybe a controller that can mount a phone that doesn't feel like a rock

Maybe a Sony Xperia Play? No, those are too old. How about a Shield Tablet? You can get the controller and connect it thru WiFi Direct or USB.

The shield tablet would be nice (and great upgrade fromy slow tablet) but I want to be able to hold both device and controller, or use a device with built in buttons.

Crazy I never heard of this company. Seem to have a variety of controllers, ones even for tablets. I might go check some reviews out.

You can connect your DS4 with your tablet, then try one of these or equivalent.
Huh, I might just get this on the on the side and just connect the controller to my phone instead. I might get something else though as I do need my phone for other things and my tablet has a chance to run slow on a 50/50 chance when powered on.

I have a gpd win and is the best thing since sliced bread (if not the invention of fire or sex... Okay probably not THAT good). From that and some reviews on the xd, I'd fully trust the xd for all basic and some advanced emulation needs.

On the streaming part, I really don't know what to say. Haven't tried it on my own one yet (TeamViewer doesn't count), so conclusions on a different device are pretty sketchy.
