If it helps ive got a Supercard DSTwo with the stock SFC emulator on it (v 1.05). Just wandering which emulator (i guess it'd just be between the SCDStwo one and Snemul DS) is the best? Specifically i want to run Lufia 2 and the DKC games.
There's NDS SFC, snemul, and CATSFC.The only other emulator for the DS is CATSFC. A search on google will likely find links and what-not. It has better compatability, but I personally didn't find it to be very good.

DS either doesn't have the power, or coding the emulators was simply proving to be too difficult. Also, why did those folk just give up? It seems like the DS could handle legacy emulation a lot better than the PSP, and the PSP works 90% now.
What about BAGSFC and NDSSFC?The only other emulator for the DS is CATSFC. A search on google will likely find links and what-not. It has better compatability, but I personally didn't find it to be very good.
There areDid I miss something?
- SNEmulDS
- Works with all flash carts
- Doesn't have an input-output delay
- Speedhacks
- Has layering issues, sound issues and the worst compatibility of the 4 emulators
- Development is practically halted/dead
- NDSSFC
- Somewhat good compatibility
- Cheats feature
- Works with Supercard DSTwo only
- No speedhacks
- Annoying input-output delay
- Development halted/dead
- BAGSFC
- Better compatibility than NDSSFC

- Best compatibility (still not perfect)

The difference in relative processing power between the DS and the PSP is much larger than you think. SNEmulDS is probably very close to the upper limit on how good it could be on stock DS hardware alone, while the DS:TWO's emulators use the cart's extra processing power to run a port of snes9x (the same one that was ported to the PSP as well). Also, why did those folk just give up? It seems like the DS could handle legacy emulation a lot better than the PSP, and the PSP works 90% now.

SNESDS isn't even worth mentioning. But yeah, there's also SNESDS.

I don't think that it has stopped altogether, it seems that we don't now too much about it. I recall seeing a post where alekmaul said h was working in a snes library for the ds.
