2 GB are not too expensive. Like even in a local store they are like, maybe 40 dollars (about).

Lol. Wow are you on crack? sorry but yeah.... I bought them for $17 /w shipping and they're made in japan (Kingston) and work perfectly.

I got a Kingston from here.

The Sandisk is from here. idk how much it is /w shipping but it's $15.99.

Actually, teamcyclops made a post recently on their official forums that the in-game text reader was coming early next year, (being this year).  So it isn't a months old rumor.  Teamcyclops has yet to disappoint us with the evolution.

A member of their forum that talks to TC on a quite regular basis told me in August, that they had an in game text reader build finished, and was going to release it soon. So yes, actually it was a months old rumor.

I missed the more recent post on their forum of them officially announcing the rtg. But thank you for letting me know. I hope it actually gets released, my Evo will get more use if it does.

And Exdee he said they're forty in a local store(which isn't bad I guess for a store), not an online site. DZTech has been known for awhile now to have cheap Japan made 2gb Kingstons.

I meant in LOCAL stores, like I said. Like a Best Buy or something. Maybe 35 bucks. Not online.

My brother has an EZ-V and it's, in my opinion, quite terrible. When the SLOT-1 race started, it was one of the best options, but it's getting worse, I'd say. Auto-DLDI patching was only recently implemented, the interface is MoonShell based and very poorly made (there are things that aren't translated, only the first row of the ROM header is shown, the integrated media player is stripped down to button control only), the games still save to an internal battery-powered chip, the loading times are one of the highest, the cheat support (I don't care for cheats, but ...) is very poorly implemented (you need to use some kind of .inis for each game, they can't be enabled/disabled in the menus, not even real-time) and soft-reset only works in about 70% of all cases.

Counting the card like X9 and NeoFlash, I think EZ-V is currently the worst best choice on the the market. Seriously, get a DSTT or R4 or SCDS instead.

DespizingU: CycloDS Evolution does have Real-Time Save. Also, their SLOT-2 cards are supported by SuperCard software (since they're clones) so they aren't completely abandoned

(but they're not available in the stores anymore). I, myself prefer CycloDS over SCDS1, simply because it has a more professional 'feel' to it (e.g. proper English and unified in-game menus). But that's just me.

Yes MaHe, I never said the Evo doesn't have Real Time Save. I'm quite aware that it does have this feature. As is everyone else that either has a CycloDS, or keeps up with the news of flashcarts.

I was talking about Real Time Guide, which the Evo does not currently have. But hopefully will get soon. And I hope TC does a better job of the RTG interface than the Supercard team did. This is excellent feature that I think every cart should have.

Everything the Team does has a sexy look to it.

I'm sure it will look way better than Supercard's implementation. You can't get something to look much worse than that. :'(
