Homebrew Best Method to Install Homebrew on 6.2.0.6U

Thank you in advance for any and all help provided,

I have the old 3ds and I can't find how to update to 9.0.0.0U from 6.2.0.6U so that I can install homebrew. Most TUT that show "how to" start with firmware 9.xx and higher. Can anyone point me to a guide or at least suggest what is best option with this low firmware.

P.S.....I have a 3ds XL that has Luma3ds and I have a stargate card.(if it helps)

I thought soundhax wasn't compatible with this low of a firmware.
