I have been experimenting them for a while, and I just thought I'd show you some hosts. Some are popular, some not so much. But I'm sure you'll find one that you like here eventually.

Best Image Hosts

Imageshack

Many people use this, and I don't see why. It's good for quick uploads but for the user that wants to organize his files or wants to upload a large amount, stay away from Imageshack. It has a steady 1.5 size limit. It has a 100mb/hour bandwidth limit.

Pros:
-Good for quick, easy uploads.
-Can resize images

Cons:
-Lack of Organization
-Mediocre feature set
-Hacks and security

Photobucket

This website is also commonly used. It is steady and offers a large feature set, but the problem is that signup is required, and it
has frequent issues. These include a small file size limit, a frequent bandwidth problem, and a large amount of hacks and security issues. However, that aside, it should do for the common user.

Pros:
-Large feature set
-Easy to organize files

Cons:
-Small file size limit
-Bandwidth problems
-Hacks and security issues

Tinypic

This is a website that is owned by photobucket and is very reliable. It does not require registration, it has only a small amount of restrictions, and it has unlimited bandwidth.

Pros:
-Easy to use
-No need to register
-Bare restrictions

Cons:
-None

Simplebucket

This is a reliable and simple website. The clean interface, the automatic signup. This is a perfect one for the average users. It has a 2mb limit, and it can organize files.

Pros:
-Simple and clean
-Reliable
-Auto sign up
-No nagging
-Fast
-Easy

Cons:
-None

Picasa Web Albums

This is the only one where you need to download a software. It is easy and reliable, you can expect that much from Google. Google's Picasa is great to organize, since you have software with you. Restrictions are minimal, although you need a Google Account (gmail).

Pros:
-Easy to organize
-Minimal Restrictions

Cons:
-Requires Software

Flickr

This is Yahoo's own, and it is pretty much the best for hosting photos. For graphics however, it is not the right place your looking for. This is incredibly popular, and it is the one where you can expect to see holiday photos, or vacation photos.

Pros:
-Best for photos
-Rich feature set
-Popular so many people will look

Cons:
-Not good for graphics

Imgur

This is simple and usable. No organizing features, but it will work for the average user.

Pros:
-Simple
-Easy
-Fast
-No nagging
-Unlimited

Cons:
-Average
-No organizing

Picmatic

My absolute favorite. It has a clean interface, easy to organize, no nonsense extra features, unlimited storage, direct links, doesn't nag you to make a "premium", auto sign up, fast. Try this, you won't regret.

Pros:
-Clean interface
-Easy to organize
-No nonsense extra features
-Unlimited storage
-Direct links
-Doesn't nag you to make a "premium"
-Auto sign up
-Fast

Cons:
-Nothing

Do all these sites support the ability to host a picture from a link?
Great topic by the way!
I think Hadrian has done some research too on image hosting sites for his Weekly Wii&NDS topics.
Hopefully he sees this topic and shares his opinion.
