I don't use anti-virus, since I use common sense. If I am about to download something I research the site I am downloading it from. If I don't know if it's a virus or not I will just go with it, since most things are not virus infected. In the past 2 years I have only needed to run Malware Bytes once.
Says the guy who has 10029 virus because he downloads too much porn.

if you are really cautious, you shouldn't need one :P
^ This. I don't have one. Havent had one. Ever. If I get a virus I either deal with it myself (Some common sense and Google) or use system restore to roll back like an hour or so.
This has only happened like twice (maybe 3 times) now, in the however many years i've owned a computer.

Avast+MalwareBytes Premium for blocking suspicious sites, and i only got some adware stuff, nothing important.
Using this configuration on 3 PC's, and everything is good ^^

That's all fine and dandy, but the real problem with "if I get a virus" is that the dangerous ones won't tell you they're there.

Yes, I know. That's why despite not using it primarily, I run Malwarebytes every month or so. (Full scan) (And then I close it for ages lol)
Nothing has come up so far.
Common sense is key to not getting a virus.

However, despite what i've said, if you're the kind of person who either likes things automatic, or runs into viruses all the time, I recommend Malwarebytes.
From what i've heard its the king of virus protection.
