Best flashcart? All preferences and opinions are welcomed of course, I just want personal advice from people about getting the best flashcart. With a flashcart, I can run the gateway exploit to download emunand.

Also what is the diference between r4i gold 3ds and r4i gold 3ds deluxe edition? I wanted to get the deluxe edition because I heard I could play 3ds roms

Gateway 3DS. MultiRom and support for every retail game.

Next best is MT card.

There's absolutely no reason for you to buy an R4, unless you like throwing $40 away.

As far as DS Flashcarts go, SuperCard DSTwo is the best, and you can use that to install the exploit/EmuNAND as well.

As far as 3DS Flashcarts go, if you get an R4i Gold 3DS Deluxe Edition, you can only flash one ROM at a time and EmuNAND is dangerous due to bricking issues. Just put the extra money forward and get a Gateway for the multitude of additional features, unless you don't mind being able to only play <5.X SDK games and one game at a time -- it's extremely questionable whether it'll ever receive "updates".

I thought gateway had bricking problems?
Why doesnt the legendary r4i get updates supposedly? Ive always heard r4i was the best in town.
What is the difference between a ds and 3ds flashcart?
could I use a 3ds flash cart to run the emunand exploit?
Is emunand a safe or risky choice?

lol, then you heard wrong.

Let me tell you a story.

A long, long time ago, back in 2008, the original R4 for ds was amazing.

Since then, every other R4 was copied from that. R4 Gold Dexluxe for 3ds is just a copy of gateway. Whatever problems gateway has, the gold deluxe has them worse.

Basically, get a Gateway, or even an mt-card.

As for bricking problems, both have them. The Omega update might have fixed it though.

Ya kidding? 3DS plays just 3ds games/ds games and DS ds games.
Emunand is made for newer games but Omega seems to be completely fine for it.
It are the betas that are unsafe I guess.

I also heard mt card is a good flashcart... Whats the difference between mt csrd and gateway?

With gateway, you can put multiple roms on a single micro sd card, and switch between them on the 3ds menu. It can also play animal crossing and pokemon x/y
With mt-card, you can put multiple roms an a single micro sd card, and swtich between them with a button on the cartridge. It cannot play animal crossing or pokemon x/y.

Gateway doesn't support Animal Crossing, Pokemon and MultiROM publically yet.

Technicmaster, the gateway team announced like yesterday or today that that it can play all retail games a and uses multirom. What are you talking about?

There are leaks. Just use google. Gateway also said that they would go public in a day or two, so by the end of April it should be public.

April Fools everyone, the true OMEGA will come out next month.
Lololololo *sniped*

Lol I'm official tester so no leak necessary for me. But it still doesn't support MultiROM officially.
