I read around a bit and saw acekard and supercard are the 2 best flashcarts at the moment, however, I couldn't find an answer to this question:
Can you RNG with flashcarts? If so, which one is best for the task?

Thanks!
p.s
Any recommended stores?

But are these flashcarts good for RNGing?
The problem with my M3 was that no matter what I did I couldn't find my DS parameters, which is why I want to get a new flashcart..

Not sure if links are allowed, but http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83057.
What I need is a flashcart that will be consistant enough to RNG. Again, the problem with my M3 was that I couldn't find my ds parameters because it returned no resulsts no matter what I did.
Googling around returned the answer "try acekard or supercard because those are consistant enough)", I need to know is that's true, and that's the reason im asking here.

Paremeters?
do you mean time or WI-FI?
those have nothing to do with a flashcart.

anyway if you do have a flashcart pokegen is way better, RNG is made for retail games mainly.

RNG abuse is something that depends on the execution time of a retail cart. From switch-on of DS Lite or DSi to loading the menu.
Because the boot time between all flashcarts will differ greatly, it becomes undependable from boot-time.

Does that mean you can't rng on flashcarts, or that it's possible to RNG on both but higher quality carts like supercard will be less random than, say, acekard, and ak will be less random than other carts like r4?
Either way, I still kinda need an answer..is it possible to RNG on ak/dstwo? if it's possible to do with both then I'll just go with the ak and save money for that imaginary 3ds hack :O

P.S
Is it true that RNGing also depends on your memorycard? if that's the case, which card is best to get? my 2/4gb kingston cards are slow as hell :/

You could actually try looking into the DSTwo, it can let you save-state and load-state, which will likely help your ability to RNG (as you can re-try an action without having to reset the system, simply re-load the save to be back to the exact same spot). I'm not sure how it affects the time-reading, though...

Generally with flash carts if people are looking for a specific nature or something, they just edit the save with Pokegen to tweak the pokemon so I don't know of anybody that's tried to RNG with a flash cart since it's so much easier and quicker to edit the save.

I don't like pokegen o:

Anyway, found out you can transfer save files from and to retail carts with a flashcarts as long as it can read homebrews. My M3real should be fine so I'm just gonna get the retail game and do that.

nds backup tool won't work with HG/SS/GEN V, you'll need a save dongle to do that.

That only work on the DS and DS Lite, if you have a DSi or 3DS (or, like stated, HG/SS/B/W which have IR which fucks up the homebrew's attempts to read the save) you'll need the save dongle.
