This a forum where you can post which flash card is the best and any you should avoid buying

.

Personally I think the DSTWO is the best but if you got a resrticted budget go for the Acekard 2i

.

that's what probably everyone says.
there are a few exceptions:
if you dont have a dsi, get an r4, some say
supercard sux arseballz, get an iSmart (like windows vs linux) (ironically, there's a linux ported to the iSmart), a few people say (mostly the ones that just have an ismart, and not a dstwo)
and that ez-flash stuff nobody knows about

From my personal experience (I haven't used all of them at length), I appreciate the DSTwo but can't see what makes it better than an M3i Zero (I reckon both are rock solid) although it does have some nice felt packaging

For simplicity's sake as well as the fast loading times, the Acekard 2i is my personal card of choice at the moment. Although when I occasionally give cards to family/friends as gifts, the iEDGE almost always looks the nicest.

You say your shop is knowledgeable with flash cart, and you go and say something like this.

it's like saying a clone is just as good as an acekard

you have no intentions of answering any questions truthfully, your only intention is to spam your "limited" stock of over priced flash carts

@ NDS-Gear I agree 100% with Romee. the m3 has very very little support, there is no way you can say that the m3i zero is at the top of the chart with dstwo. thats bullshit lol.
Supercard has a gba emulator. Supercard has a AP fighter which lets it play newer games without updates.
Supercard updates alot anyways
M3 never updates
When they do update they break some games and then they dont work.
supercard never does that lol
Also what Romee said about the acekard
the acekard is also better then the m3 and its way lower in price

Also, holy shit, those are soem extreme prices, especially for the m3. the card fails lol. lower your prices holy O:

the m3 has no support whatsoever and the supercard doesnt need support for its game compatibility

so yeah, you probably haven't tested long enough or something

Agree , M3 card is a nice card , but it is a bit of too complex for users ,i didn't get used to it ,

These are the cards I've owned own in order my preference.

Supercard DSTwo
AceKard 2i
iSmart MM (I would put the iSmartMM higher up if it had more support (skins , plugin icons etc, SDK)
R4/R4i-SDHC

For me it used to be Ez Vi card and/or all the cards from the same team
And now it is DsTwo cards

I would like to add STAY AWAY FROM THE R4 it's the biggest rubbish i've seen ever in my life since flashcards are being used for ds roms.. you'll never know which version you got ...

it could be real it could be a clone it could be a fake , it could be a fake clone , ik could be a fake fake , or a clone clone ... ooohhh Hell stop promoting the R4 please it's like promoting doggshit being good for the smell of it

Actually the original R4 is one of the best built and cheapest options for the DS/DSL. I wouldn't say it's s**t since it's all about what the person buying a cart knows and wants to check before actually buying.. The same could be said to many other carts including the AK2i, which has one of the best, if not the best, price/compatibility ratio.

But as always, off to on topic:

In order of preference:

For the DS/DSL:
CycloDS Evolution
AK2i
R4
+ EZFlash 3in1 for GBA.

Actually the only cart I ever used much with the DSL is the CycloDS Evolution, because there was a time when updates were nearly weekly and it didn't have that many problems with games etc. :3

For the DSi/DSiXL/3DS:
SC DSTwo
AK2i
CycloDS iEvolution

The reason why I wouldn't recommend a DSTwo for the DS/DSL is because GBA is best played natively when possible. A good example for this is Golden Sun which isn't perfectly emulated compared to native play. But this doesn't mean the DSTwo GBA is bad in general. It does the job quite well for most games and thus is the only viable way of playing GBA on the DSi/DSiXL/3DS

but if people tell people to stay away from things like r4 then i think they will make more clones of other karts ie amazekard
feel free to correct me if im wrong . . .

. . . just dont beat a dead horse . . . assuming im defeated in the first place . . . lol
but i personal think the supercard ds two is the one to get it has loads of features fantastic compatibility and while i dont think the gba emulator is as good as a gba flashcard i think the first two points make up for the alternatives buying a good enough flashcard ie acekard and a ez 3-in 1 or . . . an iplayer for gba and still need a flashcard for nds roms i dont want to rant just to say if you want a great user friendly card get a scds2 or even if u just want to k.i.s.s. (keep it simple stupid) as a gift i think its a good idea . . . just my point of view

. . . edit . . . one more thing i dont think r4s are that bad ( with wood ) what im trying to say is he has this whole community to ask about where to get a good r4 shoptemp has reviews and the are still the other topics asking that question to look to.
