Don't buy a stargate/gateway, Buy an ntrboot compatible flashcart that will install CFW on your 3DS, play NDS ROMs, and also cost a fraction of the price of a stargate/gateway
Also, don't buy cubic ninja or zelda oot

ex troopers is japanese only game,you need sky3DS with japanese 3DS to use that ROM.

there is no region free cart,but if you have CFW you can install any game or use any game from any region.
check 3ds.guide for more info

or just homebrew to run any out of region game.
check http://smealum.github.io/ninjhax2/ and if you have cubic ninja or rpg maker free you can launch the homebrew app to launch out of region games.

So once this is installed, all the games are cia correct? How many games can a 3ds hold? My 128 go sd card can hold about 50 games currently. Are cia games install on internal or sd card?

Cia games are installed on the SD card. 128gb should be enough to hold every 3DS game in existence that's worth playing :-p

OK so it is not yet available and when it will be, it still requires hardmodding the flashcart itself (to my best understanding)
