It's bad how much misinformation is spread here. There are two cards that can be suggested these days: supercard dstwo and r4i gold 3ds rts (r4ids.cn) (maybe in combination with the ez-flash 3in1 expension pack). Both are 3DS compatible but they are overall the best solutions for all systems. You can probably get them easier than the other cards (I know almost no store which still sells the cyclods evolution or the DSTT).
The DSTWO (Plus) is more expensive but it offers SNES and GBA emulation (which drains much power). You should buy it if you really want SNES emulation.
The R4i Gold 3DS RTS (r4ids.cn) is my suggestion in every other case. It's much cheaper, has much more settings and even built-in support for the EZ-Flash 3in1 expansion pack (but you should only get it if you want to play GBA games). You can use the expansion pack with every flashcard with a homebrew but it's not as convinient as it is when the support is built into the menu.
Using moonshell as the primary kernel of the flashcard isn't a good idea because it doesn't support ROMs.
And I kinda have to defend the CycloDS Evolution. You shouldn't buy it because it's way too expensive and doesn't support some new games without patches. But I think that their menu is the best one out there and I had almost all of the important flashcards (supercard dstwo, cyclods ievo, r4i gold 3ds rts, M3i Zero, R4i SDHC Dual-Core, EZ-Flash Vi etc).
The Acekard 2.i has more or less the same features as the wood r4 but it's more expensive and doesn't support the current 3DS and DSi firmwares.
