Homebrew Best DS Emulator?

And it also aside from being easy to use is optimized unlike the other two so a reasonable system to something just damn fast (like mine) can run it 100%.

The other two don't run so much and they also run like crap far as speeds go. I'm basing this off a 2.4ghz quad core pc w/a radeon 2600xt hd card, 3gb of ram, and other stuff on a vista system.
 
I recommend No$gba definitely. I have 2.6a, and it works awesomely well.

Though I heard from some of my friends that the emulator doesn't save for them. When they save, turn off the comp, then turn it back on, the save file doesn't load, or loads back to the previous save before the most recent one.

They mostly play PW and Professor Layton.

Anyone able to help?
 
Actually there are a few games that can't be played on no$gba (newer and older) and of those most play more or less equally on iDeaS or DeSmuME. Also there are some games that play really slowly on no$gba but play at a normal rate in the other emulators. Usually problems like these are corrected in revisions but not always so it's always good to have a backup emulator.
