Haha! yea... kind of a bad habbit, gues i just want this thing to be working again hehe. been bussy all day trying to fix it myself.

Anyway! got the thing working again, thanks to you. GH6 wont start now tho, but i gues i'll have to finish this guide tomorrow 1st. Do you know whot could cause the jabbing/skipping in the middle of the songs in GH games ? (just tried Metallica and it still had the nasty jabbing :S)

I'm not much of a musical gamer sadly so I don't have much knowledge with GH6. I have read the occasional post on the subject like the earlier ones in this thread that mention better compatibility with musical games like GH6 using Herme's cIOS223v5 with an IOS37 base; are you playing GH6 loading that cIOS? I myself have found that most backed-up games I've tried running via disc do stutter during cutscenes but the same games run fine with USB Loaders which load faster; that may be something to try. Sorry I can't be more of a help there, but good luck.

when trying to run any game (including GH6 and Metallica) on 223, it shows me 2 dots of loading and then shuts off the sync between mote and wii. wich results in a freeze. Gues tomorrow is another day

I ran Pimpmywii, then updated my Configurable USB Loader to the Latest. and putted for all instrumental games to load it on 223Mload (wich did not work before) and they all go as smooth as butter!

Everything was going along well until i decided to try and optimize my ios / cios installs and tried to follow this procedure. I already had ios249, 202, 222, 223, custom 38 and 70. Now I deleted 249 and 250 using the procedure above, and had wad packed the first ios249. However now I cannot figure out how to reinstall 249 and 250. Custom cios installer is not working, nor is the Wad file. I keep getting error ret = -2011.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

5 and 6. How do i pack the Ios to a wad, and then how do i move it to my wad directory.

I followed all of the steps & so far so good. I had install the Hermes version 4, b/c I read the version 5 made some USB loaders unstable. Anyways I decided to install the version5 like you have on the 1st page & after I do the 1st install it says "completed or load ok" something like that & then the screen go straight to the physical dump.

Any ideas? I am also connected online at this time, not sure if that matters.

The tutorial in the first post is outdated.

1. Install Hermes v5.1 first:
IOS202[Base 60]-v65535 (v5 of Hermes cIOS)
IOS222[Base 38]-v65535 (v5 of Hermes cIOS)
IOS223[Base 37]-v65535 (v5 of Hermes cIOS)
IOS224[Base 57]-v65535 (v5 of Hermes cIOS)

2. Install cIOSX Rev 20B second
Step 1) Install IOS249[Base 56]
Step 2) Use AnyTitleDeleter or DopMii to remove IOS250
Step 3) Install IOS250[Base 57]
Step 4) Install IOS248[Base 38]
Step 5) Install IOS247[Base 37]

There you go with all IOS usefull for USB Loading.
cIOSX Rev20B doesn't need the Bluedump-part anymore.

PS: You have to install Hermes first, else you may get an error message.

The cIOSX-Installer creates a backup of Slot249 in Slot250 with v65535, the highest version-number. v65535 = Protected from being overwritten by updates. So i'm not sure what happens if you leave out this step and just try to install another cIOS into that slot. It may give you an error message.
