Hmm, I recall buying the first Phoenix Wright game after reading a review in a local gaming magazine that the 'cases were realistic'. I don't consider bringing a parrot on the stand to testify anywhere near realistic.

From the ones I've played, I enjoyed the first one the most and actually stuck with it the longest.

I love the parrot!

Best = Apollo Justice

Worst = Ace Attorney Investigations : Miles Edgeworth

Reasons:
Phoenix games had without doubt the best written stories especially the 3rd game but altho apollo justice isnt quite on par with the originals its still a very very well written game. It included so many more elements like the cutscenes and the 3D evidence which had not been seen since the last case in PW1 and i find that FAR more interesting in the end.

lets not forget the evidence gathering with finger prints and such also made the normally dull gathering evidence element more fun and interesting and you still had the dramatic courtroom battles.

as for worst game. i just didnt like the stories in miles edgeworth the best case was the first one and thats over too quickly, plus the last case went on far too long and the overall feeling of the game just felt boring.

I have to agree with everything you wrote. I also voted Apollo Justice as best, but as worst Justice for All, even though the last case was epic.
I agree that Apollo was way weaker as a charterer, but the story was pretty good and the videos were amazing and really contributed a lot to the atmosphere and of the game. The backgrounds were almost fantastic.
Justice for all was the most boring, frustrating one for some reason ( to me ), and I only kept playing it because........well it's a Phoenix Write game !

I think the best was trials and tribulations too, it was unbelievable. The only game I didn't get around to finishing was the 2nd one, or justice for all I think. So it musn't have been as gripping lol. Or it was just harder... so I gave up and went straight onto the 3rd one.

Truely amazing games.

I hope people realise why Miles Edgeworth was diffrent, it was to prevent repeating a formula which might get milked.
The Developer was also getting tired of it, thats why he just made Ghost Trick. Miles Edgworth is more of a spin-off, it would be like comparing Halo-Wars with Halo 3 etc.

I liked all of them. I just didnt like the ending to Investigations. It seemed like it took forever to end. (didnt want to give anything away...

I'm gonna ignore this...

Best: Apollo Justice--> taking what we love about the ace attorney system and improving it

Worst: Justice for All--> compared with others it was boring however, miles edgeworth comes a close second

Oh, nothing bad to say about the parrot! I just don't consider it realistic to have a parrot witness in court.

I dont think Apollo Justice was the worst though ): I actually liked Apollo Justice and I want to see more of those characters, dammit.
I think Justice for All was the worst, but people just dislike Apollo because it was something new and they couldn't accept the change :/

I use to feel the same way about AJ, then when I replayed it my opinion changed. The game is very interactive during the out of courtroom scenes.

Justice for All is the weakest, but because it was the first game I played and it has Matt Engarde I still love it.

I'd say the best game was Trials and Tribulations. It had the best story in my eyes and while it didn't try to improve on the mechanics set by Justice for All, it was still okay.
I'm kind of disappointed that Apollo Justice was voted down so much as it had an overall decent story, but much better gameplay(As expected since it came out waaaaaaay later and was made for the DS) than it's predecessors.

As for the worst, I'd actually pick Justice for All. Most of the cases were dull to me and not many characters were likable. With that said, the final case was ironically one of the best in the entire series.
Miles Edgeworth was a fine game. It clearly wasn't going to be a courtroom game, and I didn't expect it to be. I played it expecting an investigative adventure game and got an excellent one.

Agreed. Except I wouldn't say the Edgeworth game was excellent. I'd just say it was good on it's own merits, but bad when compared to the rest of the series.

They all were good so i wont vote. But Miles Edgeworth one was the best. It had more gameplay features than others and looked better aswell (since you could actually walk around not just stare at drawn pictures).
