Ah, the inevitable negative post. What kept you? Alright, let's totally destroy everything you just said and make you look a fool. Gotta be quick though, got work this afternoon.

1) I AM doing things about it. How else do you describe working every hour I can, applying for other jobs to boost my income, selling my stuff to make ends meet, etc? Don't think for one second that you know what you're talking about because I'm doing everything I can under difficult circumstances. And I'm making progress. Had a few interviews lately, which given the lack of jobs in this city is good news. Just a matter of time before I get another job. How bout you do something like go to college? Then you can be a big boy with a real job

2) My Lionheart was a gift. Cost me nothing. And just because you deem it worthless doesn't mean I have to. My dad acts much the same as you. No respect for anyone else's thoughts or feelings. A real douche. Never said it was worthless, I just meant that paying your bills is more important and just wondering why you have something like that when you complain about money problems, it would probably fetch a pretty penny, but if it was a gift and has sentimental value then I can understand why you would want to keep it.

3) You don't have to 'tell it like it is'. At what point where you invited to do so? I don't recall ever posting 'now somebody be a twat'.
When I noticed that this is a forum where I can post something without your permission.

QUOTE(Blaze163 @ Jun 24 2011, 09:17 AM)
Now go sit in the corner with your crayons like the rest of the fucktards.
This is funny. Do you actually think you've insulted me? Or 'put me in my place' or something? In my eyes you've only made yourself look more pathetic. I've had many people thank me for being harsh on them and getting them to realize that they can do more to take control of their own lives instead of complaining about it. The ones that respond the way you have are generally the immature/hot-headed ones that can't handle criticism so they attempt to make me "look a fool," but often end up doing that to themselves.

If you respond to this I hope it's as funny as your first reply

1) College costs a lot of money I simply don't have right now. I wanted to finish my Forensic Science course when I was in college but due to family complications it simply wasn't possible. I've already given up my college life to support the old man through difficult times, I don't have the funding to try again. Yet. Didn't know that, did you? No, just made ignorant assumptions that I'm some dumb 17 year old who left school and went right into dead end jobs. You want to comment on my life you better make damn sure you know what you're talking about first. If you don't then just shut your fucking mouth. If I want to hear streams of ill-informed bullshit about how I could do better, I'll talk to my dad.

2) Just because this is a forum doesn't give you the right to claim I can do more with my life when you know nothing about who I am or what I do. And don't try to justify your blatant trolling as 'tough love', that shit won't fly. You came in here and decided without provocation to act like you know everything. And you have the gall to call me childish. What have you done with your life that puts you in a position to judge me? What contribution have you made to humanity? Saved any lives? Cured any diseases? Invented anything noteworthy? Come on, tell me, what makes you so much better than me that you can pretend you know anything about me? In case you're wondering, I HAVE saved lives before. I've made contributions to the greater good even when dragged down by people like you. I doubt you can say the same if your attitude here is anything to go by.

3) I'm not here to amuse people like you. You want someone to amuse you, go over to 4chan where your style is more appreciated.

Ok so this post might seem negative to you but over the last few weeks I've been catching up on your blogs and have noticed a few things....

Ever thought about applying to University, or at least doing a part time BTEC course? (Heck I think a lot of BTEC Courses these days are free) With a little help from Student financing? EDIT: just seen your above posted you posted a second before me, fair enough about education
smile.gif

Also how much is your phone bill a month if you dont mind me asking, I'm on virgin mobile and I only pay £7.50 for a rolling contract. Broadband, landline and TV at our home = £30. That's £37.50, £45 on a expensive month. So how come you spend so much? Is Virgin screwing you over?

Didn't you just buy yourself a 3DS not long ago. That too when it was £200+? AND you bought a couple of games brand new. Ocarina of Time 3DS is great and all but you dont NEED shit like that do you?
And you say you're still buying Resident evil when it comes out. Dude what?! Ok fair enough you gotta spoil yourself sometimes but why dont you just wait for it to come down in price, or till it's second hand.

Have you got a good budget plan for a weekly basis? So that even if in one month you are cutting short on money you can still get through well enough.

I've even gone ahead on direct.gov (thats like a support system thats government funded in Britain for anyone that doesnt know) and searched for 'sales' in 'coventry' and there's a good list of jobs available that don't need many qualifications, with what sounds like decent pay, and some even pay per annum.
here: http://jobseekers.direct.gov.uk/listjob.as...mp;p=3&so=1

Granted I don't know your life as well as you know it, or people around you in 'reallifez' may know it, but I just had to say this.

Granted I don't know your life as well as you know it, or people around you in 'reallifez' may know it, but I just had to say this.

I was on a BTEC ND course, the forensic science course I mentioned before. I had to leave because my dad's health got so bad he couldn't work, therefore had no money to keep the house, and as a result I had no choice but to get a job, and the only way to earn enough money to pay bills was to give up college to be able to work more hours. I looked into all other options and none were practical given the situation. That course was only free because of my age. Even if I could afford to give up work to resume my studies now, any course worth doing will cost a lot of money now because I'm older. It's a damn shame, but that's the way life goes.

In order to buy my 3DS I sold pretty much everything I owned and scraped together every spare penny I could get by working every extra hour I could score. It wasn't easy. But every now and then I have to treat myself. Make life seem worthwhile by getting something I want. I never buy something like this unless I'm certain I can cope with the funds I'd have left. I'm OK with spending £30 on Resi this month because if it becomes necessary to recover those funds, I have ways of doing so. It shouldn't be necessary but the option's there if I need it.

I can't create any sort of financial plan as I never know whether I'll be working 30 hours or 13 from week to week. Nature of my current job. Hence why I'm looking into all others. I have a tonne of CV's out there and I've filled in about a dozen application forms this week alone, which isn't bad. Sooner or later I'll nail an interview, break free from JJB's constant stealing of my wages, and maybe life will improve. I took the job at JJB out of necessity based on problematic circumstances at the time. If it were up to me I'd be further into my overall career plan at the moment, but I'm working on it. And I have a job, even if it does suck.

As stated before my phone and broadband bills come to £52 a month together. Not bad, all things considered. It's manageable with my normal pay, but with my wages sucking ass for the last two months I'm a bit behind. I'll sort that out one way or the other. Might also ask Virgin if I can reduce my costs somehow, just to be sure. Am also never calling New Zealand again, I'll send Sian messages on Facebook if I want to talk to her without bankrupting myself.

You've missed my entire point. All I was trying to say in the first place is spend less time complaining and more time trying to make your life better. You say you work hard and that you're doing everything you can, well guess what? That's what everyone says! It's the most bullshit statement just about ever made, you can literally ALWAYS do more. You seem to have plenty of time to spend complaining about your life on an internet forum when you could be out trying to make it better. Yeah I don't know your life story, but that shouldn't matter. Complaining about the past only holds you back, it shouldn't affect what you make of the future. I know it's cliche but why don't you go try to live in Africa in real poverty? You'd realize what a shitty life really is

@Death Strudel: Give it up. He doesn't want your "Advice". Take this as you will, but he blogs like this all the time. He complains in a blog because like many other people, he has a limit. Laying his thoughts and anger out in a thoroughly worded cluster fuck keeps his sanity and anger in check.

Until you, and I know more about his personal life beyond his blogs, we should keep our "Harsh" advice to ourselves. (By ourselves, I mean you and others who want to give the same "advice")

//Actually, I think you should take a moment and vacate yourself from his blog before he asks you to.

Don't try to justify being a jerk with the old 'freedom of speech' line. Common decency should be enough to make you remember that just because you can say or do something, it doesn't follow that you should. Bragging about your scholarship and looking down on everyone because you think you're doing so well? You might be doing well in your school life but in terms of your spirit you're the poorest person I've ever encountered. You have no idea how to act as a human being. So you can keep your precious scholarship. If facing hardships and paying my own way is what it takes to make sure I don't turn into a prick like you, then I welcome whatever the world has to throw at me.

Life isn't as kind to us all as it must have been to you. I do whatever I can to make it better for myself and the people I care about. People like you are the ones that make it worse. You sicken me. Everything about you makes me want to puke. And you yourself seem to have missed the point of this entire blog. I'm here venting my frustrations in a consequence free environment to calm myself down. How are you helping, exactly? Have you said anything helpful at all? No, you've bragged about your scholarship and how great your life is and made uninformed remarks about me, justifying your ignorance with your precious freedom of speech. You're not even on the same level as the rest of us. You're a pathetic immature child, thinking that you're free to be as offensive as you like. A troll, in short. Get back under your bridge. I'll waste no more time on you.

Spare the clowns over here none of your attention. There's always one cuckoo in a clock, y'know what I mean?

I've never had a full-time job [again, don't ask; medical reasons], but I think the consensus is if you're unhappy with your job, it'll get worse. Hopefully they'll clear this crap up, but in any case, good luck with trying to find a new one.

Hmmm, i don't think £52 is a manageable amount for phone and broadband... I find that's extortionate!
First things first, if you have the time, find a good phone deal with internet and phone included (me and my boyfriend are with BT for our phone and out broadband, unlimited bandwidth for just over £30) I think this is a lot more reasonable, plus the connection is brilliant.
Obviously this all depends on your area, and package choice. But i would seriously consider that...take the weight off a bit.

scouring price compare sites is a good way to go about it, then you don't have to do it all manually.
Like someone else said, have you made a weekly/monthly spending chart? Stick within your usual pay-limit...I know you're sort of doing this, but it usually helps to have the visionary help (for me anyway) and to have gone through it with pen and paper.

Hope things get sorted..shame your Dad's taking the piss out of his own son (fund-wise).

Well, I'm back from work with the news. In actual fact my wages seem to be more or less in order, save for one shift they didn't put through, a simple mistake, easily corrected. The reason why they seemed low is that they forgot to put through my holiday pay. I took a week's vacation when my little brother was injured, make sure he was ok and everything. They owe me £56, plus the few extra quid I earned for a 3 hour shift they forgot to pay me for (to be fair it was a last minute request, not rota'd, easy to forget unless I'm there to remind you). They've arranged payment, it was a simple mistake. Someone at head office got me confused with another member of staff who has already used up his holidays. They've been disciplined and the matter doesn't need to go further as my money's on its way.

What bothers me is that Head Office sent us all an email praising our performance with the 1% bonus scheme going on, but they've not paid us. There's no mention of any bonus money on my payslip. Having questioned them on this, they're saying they'll pay us next month. To which the response of all staff present was a resounding 'go fuck yourselves' and we've demanded our payment now. We don't work our nuts off for a 1% payback scheme and accept it when we get nothing for our efforts. Not a chance in hell. They said they'd reconsider. And they now realise that pissing off what few staff members remain wouldn't be wise.

It seems my recent injuries are more noticable than I thought though. Even Shiva and Tony have commented on the rather pronounced limp in my right leg. I smashed it up pretty bad a few days ago and it's not healing. I was coping OK but stress limits my ability to focus so I guess I've not been able to suppress the pain very well if even they've told me not to come in if my leg is that bad in the morning.

And yes, DudewiththeFood, it's the same job. In all fairness this seems to be an honest mistake and everything's sorted now, so it shouldn't happen again. I'll be keeping a very close eye on them anyway.

And yes, my dad's still being a bell end. I was talking about trading in a few games in favour of something new for my 360 and he starts whinging about how much money I apparantly owe him and how I have to pay him back first. So...I'm supposed to give you £200, way more than my brother pays every month even though he earns more than me, then sell my games so you can sit around smoking yourself to death and play Tiger Woods....yeah, that makes sense. That's just fine. If you've ever wondered why I hate the guy, now you know. He seems to think the world is only here to amuse and support his delusions. I'm here to make his life easier while he makes everyone else's lives hard. It's really quite sad. There's potential for a good man in there somewhere, but he's stuck under piles of absolute prick.

Wow... your dad somehow reminds me of one of my uncles... when he was a kid he was VERY VERY GOOD at drawing and stuff that involved arts... guess what? today he still lives with my grand parents....

Anyway, so you go help your dad because he is bad on his health... and now he pays you back with this?

You owe him money? You pay him £200 + £50 for Nanaki... and he stills want more? Men... i would have told him GTFO.

Anyways, keep me updated, i love reading your blogs

Nice to know there are good people out there.

To be fair, my dad's always been a dick. Here's a few examples of his greater fuckups over the years.

- Leaving without a word when I was 8, nowhere to be seen for years after he broke up with my mother (don't even get me started on that one).

- Abandoning me on what we could only assume was my mother's doorstep when I was 15 and leaving me to die without even 10p for a phone call. He took the side of his girlfriend in an argument and betrayed his own flesh and blood. Mum had actually moved so I was stranded. Thankfully I had friends I could call on in the area and managed to arrange a place to crash until I got myself sorted out. But even so...

- Honestly believing his now ex girlfriend, my 'little brother' John's mother. He's not actually biologically related to me but given the complex back story it's quicker to just call him my little brother. After all, he's not to blame for her being pure evil. She was a master of mind control, and she managed to get him to seriously believe that he was a billionairre with his own mansion and legions of security guards willing to die for him and all that. In truth we lived in a grotty little end of terrace with a pile of garbage so big you could climb up it to get on top of the garage. Seriously. A pile of crap about eight feet high. When my brother Chris (adopted by dad but same mum as me) tried to snap him out of this delusional world, dad betrayed him too, kicked him out and they've not crossed paths since, hence why dad will never meet his granddaughter.

I could go on, but you get an idea as to the kind of scum he is. I'm honestly ashamed to even know him, never mind be related to him. My mother's just as bad, a drunken selfish bitch. How you could fuse those two and end up with me is utterly beyond me. It's like putting Alan Carr and Graham Norton in a blender and somehow getting Chuck Norris out. On a stricly scientific level it doesn't make sense. Hence why I sometimes get the very real feeling that my 'dad' may have had his vasectomy BEFORE I was on the drawing board. It honestly wouldn't shock me.

^This. £52 is a lot to spend on broadband and phone bills. I spend a lot less than that and don't live in an ISP's "cabled areas" (which are a lot cheaper).

And now to make matters worse, my netbook's been hacked again. Every few weeks I get hacked by something claiming to be Windows Security, which shuts down any system applications that could remove it (system restore, etc) and only lets me use programs that could be used to buy their product. Like Internet Explorer. But not Firefox, etc. Makes me sick. I have to do things the hard way now. Trying to remember which button I have to hold to boot in Safe Mode. It's not F2, that's for the options menu...what was it? It's F something, I know that much. I don't feel like booting it up 11 other times to find the right number though. Anyone know?

I'm running the latest AVG and except for this I never have any problems. It's not too draining on resources, it's free, and it protects me from viral attacks. This is the only one that always gets through and I'm sick of it. How can I totally obliterate this problem once and for all? I'm tired of having to run system restore all the time.

To be completely bluntly honest, if my dad would put me through all of that, I would probably snap and beat his living ass into the afterlife.

To be frank, there's been close calls, when he's dicked around and almost (on more than one occasion) brought about a divorce with my mom. It once led me to what may be considered "illegal threat" according to Swedish law, but it's water under the bridge, mostly.

One thing we both have yet to apologize for is locking him in a room when he seriously went out of control and ripped some internet cables and a router into shreds under the delusion that the internet was poisoning me and my siblings minds into skipping school, and coming late to classes. Earlier, he would remove all our cables around 9 PM. He was held back in my brother's room, the door held shut from an ironing board, and only communicating by yelling past the door.

The settlement (in a real courthouse manner) led to me taking it in the ass over it for my brothers, being the only one losing my internet at 10 PM on weekdays. Bitch-ass clown doesn't even pay for that broadband....

I know it seems like little to compare to your own situation, but he has often been very belittling and very patronizing towards my mother, holding double standards towards us and often contradicting and lying VERY much. It's not fun to live with a semi-worthless trash-talker......

You press F8 repeatedly on boot up to get into selection screen where u choose safe mode with networking, after that you need to download program called malware bytes and run a scan and make it delete anything it has found, which is the virus. Also I would recommend switching your AV to something better such as ESET NOD32 Smart security [x86 or x64 depending on netbook architecture] and if you pm me I'll let you know how to get a copy if you get my drift. I've had ESET NOD32 for awhile now and haven't had any virus's for 2 years so far.

Well, I've run my System Restore program from Safe Mode which normally fixes the problem, but this time it's had no effect. With the exception of Internet Explorer, trying to open any program whatsoever gives me an error message saying there's no program capable of using .exe file extensions. Be it Firefox, AVG or even Solitaire. My entire system is disabled. All I have left is my web browser, and given that I use the system mainly for writing my reviews and other stuff in word processing programs, I'm royally boned.

Once again my plans have been scuppered because somewhere out there, someone thinks they have the right to break my stuff when I don't give them money for something nobody wants or needs. I tell you, even with Heather by my side I'm still seconds away from finally snapping at this point. I've got Virgin Media hounding me every day, my dad being even more of a cunt than usual and giving the most feeble justification I've ever heard in my life, and now my one way of working towards escaping it all is disabled and I have no apparant way of recovery. So...yeah, once again if you see me in a news story ending with the topic title, now you know why. Even my patience and spirit have their limitations you know. What you don't want to know is what happens when they finally give out on me.

EDIT FOR NEW INFO: Well, I've had a little play around with this thing and Internet Explorer is working, I got my VLC media player working, and I got AbiWord working. But all other programs, AVG included, give me the same error message. Trying to run system restore without first restarting in Safe Mode gives me a 'DLL file missing' error message. What the fuck is wrong with this thing? How can I fix it?

To be on the safe side, I've 'borrowed' my dad's 16GB SD card and backed up any files I cannot easily replace. If needs be I'll have to purge the system back to factory settings. If that doesn't help...then it's fucked. May as well turn it into a paperweight after that, I reckon.

Have you got Malwarebytes? Try scanning it with that, and ad-aware. Scan it with every fucker!. Avast is good too, but I heard AVG is..

I take it with Virgin Media you get the channels too?
Can you not just cancel Virgin and get normal internet and phone bills with just freeview?
My bill is actually only £25 (not over £30, like I said before) for unlim. broadband (fast) and the house phone.

Are you keeping it because your Dad wants it for his amusement while he sits around the house? (can't stand it when people who don't work because of their health and yet they smoke their guts out.. it's taking the piss. Plus - smoking's grim anyway) and your Dad won't quit either? It's a shame, as that accumulates a lot of money, tell him to stop smoking, then his money could be more sensibly used to pay for his OWN house bills... of course that'll go on deaf ears.
