Hello all. i softmodded my wii a while ago but i havent played my wii since galaxy 2. im wondering with there been a new update out how do i go about playing games like metroid. fifa 11. do i just copy them to harddrive like normal, i imagine an update is neeeded?

You don't need to update when you are playing from USB, copy them like normal.

ok cool. so my old usbloader should still work. and wont metroid other m ask me to update my wii?

If you are playing from usb it should not ask for an update, but if it ask for an update, it should be no problem to update the wii if you have the new homebrew channel 1.0.7 or 1.0.8, but only update if it's needed.
