I have just noticed that the 2 Official Nintendo DSLite batteries I have here one is a variant of the other.

One is marked as a C/USG-A-BP-EUR the other a C/USG-A-BP-EUR-1

The Voltage and mAh is the same on both (3.7v 1000mAh) so I was curious since Nintendo must have marked it differently for some reason.

If its of any use the C/USG-A-BP-EUR came in a Normal Piano Black DSLite and the C/USG-A-BP-EUR-1 From a Pokemon Diamond/Pearl Limited Edition.

The only things you need to worry about with batteries in general is form, mAh and V. As long as these are the same I wouldn't worry about the difference between the model numbers. It is likely there is only a minor revision change between EUR and EUR-1, possibly only something like the composition of the plastic used for the body or something like that.
