My Nintendo Switch with OS 11.0 and the latest SX OS probably has an issue. Today I removed the console from the dock in the morning, after a nigh-long charge. Three hours later, without touching the console (it’s in the sleep-mode) the battery is at 62%. What can I do to solve this problem? Is there any software issue (maybe a homebrew or something) that causes this battery draining? Can be the SX OS?

I also have this problem recently, but apparently is not a problem at all, what do you think? Could be this? https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-switch-periodically-makes-an-odd-vibration.579168/

depends, I am not familiar with $X OS so I can't help you with that besides advising you to update it to its latest version.
battery drain was a problem with older versions of Atmosphère iirc

Could be SX OS, could be a sysmodule you have loaded. I don't have that issue on Atmosphere, so it's definitely not normal.

Check for any running Sysmodules you may have installed, Update the SX OS, try to contact the official Support for SX OS if there is such a thing.

To your other problem, with the Vibrations, its definitly not normal. I would say this could very well be your culprit. try to remove your joycons from your console while its in standby and see if that changes anything. If it still vibrates, try to disconnect them and then put it in sleep mode. If that solves the Draining Battery problem you have found your culprit. To solve the problem with the Joycons itself, i would suggest try to use another set of joycons to eliminate the possiblility that its maybe the joycons that are defective, check for any settings or sysmodules or homebrews you are using that may have something to do with it.

Have you hardmodded anything? Modchip in the Switch or any modifications on the Joycons?

How can I remove all homebrews an do a clean install of SX OS (possibly without loosing the games)?

@BakerMan, Any idea what happened? I hope that your brother's doing good.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
He couldn't eat until after his MRI, when he had a bomb pop.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
What matters now is that he's doing alright.
