Holy hell why would a bundle be $100 more expensive
Must be pretty exclusive.Holy hell why would a bundle be $100 more expensive

Hopefully...hopefully the gimmick/innovation is already prepackaged in the box. Maybe the bundle includes a game and another controller too
It'd be a nice comparison if Dreamcast don't have a infinitely inferior 'handheld'.Something i was thinking is that the "handheld" part would be like the Dreamcast's memory cards, where you interact with a little part of the game, but the full experience is on the "home console" part.
Thinking about it, it makes complete sense: If the NX has a strong "handheld" side, then Nintendo has to cut costs by using ARM, and thus, less powerfull than home consoles. And if developers (excluding trash like Ubisoft and EA) really sees potential not only in gimmicks but on proccesing power, then the "handheld" side will be a small fraction of the whole console.

That just changes the character that appears on the button. Buttons are already abstract and change their meaning from game to game. Now if they had technology to create physical raised buttons on the fly, THAT would be impressive. What if the NX gimmick was dynamic e-ink buttons. Think about it, maybe it wasn't detachable controllers but instead changeable buttons with the press of a button. That way the controller could have multiple button layouts.

You mean liquid metal screen filling that grow wider when charged? There are several Nano structures that will grow taller under the right condition, but temperature might be an interference. That just changes the character that appears on the button. That thing need a 10w zen+ apu made with 7nm in 2019.Maybe it could be like the MagiC z-pads on the Smach Z not the same thing, but the same concept.
What about an array of little magnetic poles that push up when a current is induced around them, and then the resultant flux from when you press them down can be used to read your inputs.Giant PSV with 1+ teraflop half-precision and Nintendo brand and great body tracking?

Something similar, but the magnetic poles won't give the same kind of soft touch. Goodthing about electricity is that they could act both ways. What about an array of little magnetic poles that push up when a current is induced around them, and then the resultant flux from when you press them down can be used to read your inputs.
The poles are just the driving mechanism. You'd have a flexible-but-firm material on top of them to give a good feel to them.Something similar, but the magnetic poles won't give the same kind of soft touch. Goodthing about electricity is that they could act both ways.

i hope its actually a cheap phone or you can put your sim card in it and use it as a phoneI hoe the NX reveal starts off with Reggie on his computer looking at the NX sub Reddit then going "what's wrong with you?"

But then that would pry my from my ecosystem. Trust my I would love a Nintendo phone but I love my ecosystem too much to get a Nintendo phone.i hope its actually a cheap phone or you can put your sim card in it and use it as a phone
