BAGSFC r3

I'll have to give this a shot soon. Awesome work in advance!

I'd like to see Panel de Pon without a horrendous frame rate, but that's just wishful thinking.

Honestly, you shouldn't have any issues speed-wise with that game. PDP/Tetris Attack didn't have any special chips or anything, so I say it'd be fullspeed

Donkey Kong Country 2 still has some strange (albeit harmless) sound issues. The creaking of the ship on the first map is blown way out of proportion. Background musics and effects are all perfect still. I suppose thats the only sound issue.

It also still feels laggy/kludgy even w/ CPU at 5.

Full speed is one thing, but smooth frame rate is another. PdP had frames chopped like crazy when using the official emulator at CPU 4, but it played at full speed. Couldn't get into it, until...

*turns off sound and uses CPU 5*

...I'll be damned!

Anyway, awesome modification! I think I'll be using this version until a better one comes out, assuming it ever does. Although there are a couple of things that bother me. One is the button pushing in menus. Whenever I enter the save state menu, many times it acts like I press A twice and sends me to the main menu. The other is the screen positioning. Don't get me wrong, what you've got right now is great already, but I would like to manually position the screen to my preferences, like showing all 12 rows in Panel de Pon without squishing the screen. The latter is just a thought, but the former I really hope is fixed.

I know this is an old thread, but I would just like to thank you very much for this improved version of the emulator.

By the way, does anyone else think that state selecting should be fixed? For me, it saves incrementally after each save, gets stuck at state 10 on which I then always have to save from then on, and I can't select any other specific state to save on. It's a bit annoying, especially since I have a personal "system" in saving states.

I suggest using catsfc, it works better and fixed a lot of things.

and i suggest to stick with BAGSFC r3

CATSFC add some new features (touchscreen menu namely) and improve on the few special chip games compatibility a little but for all the rest it is a bit broken and noticeably (to me at least) a slight bit more choppy on CPU frequency 5 than BAGSFC

edit : oh and welcome to the temp! DaVince ^^
