I dont understand this replacement.I installed the normal EOS plugin menu, and it had icons for some stuff, and I just installed this and there's only one folder.Am I doing something wrong?

Hey Bass, I noticed a bit of a bug after playing an mp3 file with the internal player. For me the top screen box art stops showing up till i do a reset, but before i stop the music all is ok.

Im really diggin' this menu replacement, its so damn customizable, and being able to see cover art for my ds, nes and snes (as well as books and vids) is mighty cool indeed=)

It hangs the new supercard system released to bypass the new DS firmware.
iMenu does the some, something to do with the _dstwo folder?

I got used too BAPLUG, now the standard DSgame menu seems ugly

Where and how does it hang?

FYI - I had problems with iMenu after updating to new DSTwo 'fix'... It would'nt start up correctly

See here to see what I did to get iMenu back up & running

I THINK it's because I originally only copied over the DSTwo updates ON TOP of the existing files on MSD - this may've caused the 'DSTwo.plg' file in the /_DSTwo/ folder to be 'the wrong one' for iMenu to find

EDIT: Oh something else that I just remembered - apperently some1 had their card 'freezing' on the 'iMenu' logo on boot up - He deleted the 'plgargs.dat' on the root & it fixed it for him

For the newest Supercard update, the only file that would conflict with iMenu and BAGPlug would be the new DSTwo.nds in the /_dstwo/ folder. Assuming that gets replaced by the one that comes with iMenu or BAGPlug after running the update, there shouldn't be any issues. Also be sure to check if the boot.ini is still in the /_dstwo/ folder and points to the correct file -dstwo.plg for BAGplug and presumably iMenu.

Yup, that's what happens. I updated yesterday with BAGplugs DSTwo.nds installed and the update altered the file, so it'd boot to the official menu. I just replaced that file with the one originally from BAGplug and it works fine again.

Got it fixed, that's what I did:
1) rename the new dstwo.nds to _dstwo.nds (I think's that is for iMenu only)
2) replace my old boot.ini with the one in BAGPlug
3) add dstwo.nds from BAGPlug zip file

The thing is that now I cannot choose whether I want to boot with BAGPlug, iMenu or the old dsGame. I press L+R at boot time and nothing happens.
Mi "old" boot.ini was this:
QUOTE said:
[boot_settings]

file = /_bagui/dstwo.plg

opt1 = /_imenu/dstwo.plg
name1 = iMenu

opt2 = /_bagui/dstwo.plg
name2 = BAGUI

opt3 =
name3 = -

opt4 = /moonshl2/moonshl2.nds
name4 = Moonshell 2

opt5 = /_dstwo/_dstwo.nds
name5 = DSTwo Plugin Menu
and if I leave it like that, it freezes at boot time (when I press A on the DSi menu I get a white screen).

I have to edit it manually on my PC with the file entry only. Any suggestions?

Thanks for your help.

Also, my homebrew pack has been cleaned up some more (rogue pixels were hunted down and killed on site=P), and updated to work on version 3 - 1.

I have one problem with the new version: The skin preview shows me the only the touchpad image. The top screen shows the image of the actual skin.

For that to work, you need the dstwo.nds from iMenu, the bagplug one doesn't do that.
You were right, thanks a lot.

I got a bit mixed up with all these files with the same name

Also, thanks for the icons

Other thing, in the portal page there seems to be a different skin, anyone can provide more skins?

Wow awesome! I hope you don't mind, but I've linked them on the first post. Is it alright to create mirrors for them?

Thanks for pointing that out, it'll be fixed in the next release.

Thanks Bass =D. For the NES and SNES, yes please do make mirrors. My LocoPack I'd like to remain at filetrip (w/no mirrors please, so i can keep track of DLs..adding it to your OP is waay cool though). Feel free to change the links funky name if you want hehe.
Which reminds me, could I mirror the BAGplug versions to Filetrip?

Oh yeah, the mp3 player is working just great now, and not messing w/the top screen =)

@VatoLoco: What Name List did you use to make the names of the SNES ROMs Box Art? I am using Nach's SNES ROM Tools v3.4 but it uses another name standard.

What I want to do is to have all the ROMs automatically renamed to match the Box Arts Pack you´ve done. Any idea?

The pack was already named, so i'm not sure what namelist was used. I just resized and added the rom extension to the names to work on bagplug. Actually there was a handful that had (rev A, rev 1, rev B) that i removed so they'd match my roms, but the majority of the names werent messed with.
Sorry they dont match your set =(

edit: Im sure theres a batch renamer out there that could do the job, but i dont know of one off-hand.

edit2: I swear i had this posted, then it was gone o.0.
anyway, I realized that my snes aren't zipped, so the boxart i converted is looking for .sfc, not .zip.
I'll do a re-up this evening, where they point to .zip, as i'm sure most ppl keep 'em zippered up to save space.
