oh sorry yeah, that got my TU fixed, thanks

the damn disc had "title_update.bin" but the actual functional name for it was the thing I needed

at least it boots and SEES the DLC, it's too late for me to try to speedrun to accessing them all

Lets go. Enjoy one of the best Bethesda games regardless. For some reason I think you would be interested in this, it is possible to play pc mods on the console version for the 360. I actually hope one day to release one for the 360. Anyways yea I've beem playing very hard mode no auto aim since badupdate came out having a total blast.

oh I know, I modded the PS3 version (and NV, and oblivion, and skyrim) pretty extensively

just starting on the 360 versions now that badupdate is out, because the considerable investment for a hardmod is out of my budget

Literally same, new to all of this too. And also just to clarify i haven't yet modded Fallout 3 at all. I'm playing thtough the 360 version stock no auto aim very hard mode just like back in the day so far. But i did hear how you can modify mods to work on the console versions pretty easily, nobody really cared back in the day because you needed a hard mod and it was so rare when i.e. jtag was the only way. But now is different, and making custom levels/my own dlc seems right up my alley eventually,

is your ISO extracted correctly? If the folder has just AUDIO and VIDEO folders, instead of all the other files, you need to patch it. This was the problem I was having

This is how I solved my issue with Title Updates using BadUpdate/Aurora:

Do NOT patch the XEX when extracting the contents of the iso (Not required when using XeUnshackle )
Run XeUnshackle // Aurora. In Aurora check the "Settings" for your game (press Y then Left twice) and enable Settings Override. Check Content Patching and License Patching (not sure if both of them are needed)

Titles updates downloaded through Aurora work for me after doing this.

Absolutely never patch and apply title updates they won’t work (because the title update is a patch based on the unmodified xex executable file).

I've been experiencing the same issue on my console as well. It all started after I did an update so I could patch in the avatar editor. The guidelines for this mentioned that i should probably disable all title updates before proceeding, but I idiotically didn't do so. Now all the games that were present during the update can't have title updates applied to them or they crash either during launch or when I actually try to start them. And so, I think it's some sort of game corruption that causes this or even a corruption on title updates, but i doubt the latter as i have tried reinstalling title updates from scratch. It doesn't work.

Someone mentioned something about something called BadUpdate. How do I set that up and use it?

I'm yet to solve the issue, and so I'd appreciate any help getting title updates to work once again.

Can you explain more on this? Also, what should my Dash launch configuration look like concerning patching?

I'll try this, though I had prior and it didn't seem to have an effect.
