Hacking Backup Loader Problem

Hello, GBATemp.
I've successfully managed to install Homebrew on my Nintendo Wii, 4.3E and install the backup launcher the cIOS and DVD XInstaller.
Anyway, I burnt Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 to a DVD -R disk and my Wii, nor the backup launcher can read it.
It reads it for a few seconds (the usual disc reading sound) but after a few seconds (10 or so) it just stops and says DVD Read Error (324).


And I guess some information how I burnt it?
I used IMGBurn and tried to burn it at 2X speed but my drive only supports 4X, 6X, 8X, 10X, 14X. So I was forced to use 4X speed.

Any assistance here please?

Sounds like your wii is too new to read disc backups, get neogamma and try it again, if neogamma says you your drive is too new then you might check out usb loading.

Yup, It's too new. :/ I also got a DVD +R/Bad burn maybe? error too.

How do I load games from a USB?
I have got SD cards (8GB) and a memory stick to hold my SD card.

You can use ModMii to update your IOS/cIOS first then install Wiiflow latest is rev485, USB Loader GX latest v3.0 or CFG-USB-Loader rev70 or mod-rev34
each loader has its pros and cons but all should be able to load almost any game now.
Check their individual threads in Backup-Loaders they are all stickies on top.

Yes, modmii will explain you everything, you also may completely clean re-hack your wii using it, then it will even generate a guide for you which explains detailed what you need to do.

Re hack it?
I thought you'd need a un-hacked Wii to re hack it, anyway, I'll check it out, thanks or your help.
