Hacking Backup Loader 0.3 Compatibility Thread

Rock Band Track Pack 1 NTSC-USA.

The game loads and runs fine except the Guitar and the Drums are not detected, only the Mic works.

Burned on Imation DVD-R at 2.4x using ImgBurn.

I also have this problem does anyone know how to fix this? It's not listed in the wiki as having any problems, so maybe it should?

and still drunk... but can say that wii muzik wrkz like 1:1 paal wii pal game (althought i think that is some bad rip cause it only wrkz with force pal 50 so it may also be ntsc, but game is some crazy shit.. have you tryed BASS DRUM .. omg total hangover destroyer that is.... wiiiiiii

oh yeah and,,, niht forgot. i thought that traxdata is the best thingy I can burn wii games but after few nonworking dvdz i found that me wii wrkz best with maxell stuff...or sony (but that is so contradictory that I shall not discuss..) .. me wii is quite old one,probably first relase that was in this area...

Have you tried patching it?

The few games I've tested that had issues like that 1:1 worked perfectly patched (QoS is one of em)

@ dude above me I think its a gc disc not wii is'nt it?

Dont forget to try both Patched and unpatched

BOTH THESE GAMES WORK but have to be patched

007 QUANTUM SOLACE NTSC WORKS (patched with bc-gui)

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World NTSC (patched with bc-gui)


BTW i burned 1:1 of BOTH of these in NTSC while they LOADED they also had a disk error....yet...when patched the disc error went away

the "cannot read disc please eject game and power down" message will appear on NTSC copies UNLESS THEY ARE PATCHED! (decrypted)

^Both of those work without being patched. I don't think (correct me if I'm wrong) that there are any games that only worked patched, anymore.

Im having some issues my copy of Disaster Day Of Crisis when i try to go to Level 7 it just hangs on a black screen it has been working fine until now and why on earth it decided to stop now i have no clue its a scrubbed brick blocked regiofrii'd wii image burnt at 4x because for some reason my burner wont burn@ 2x onto decent verbatim -R media Wii music, Warioland, Mind over mutant all work fine and this did until now please help...

Did you install the Gamma loader and its cIOS? If you did, this is stange, i thought the error you have is supposed to be fixed since the entryholder fix.

I beat the whole game using .3b (requiem4d fix) and read_retry cios, worked perfectly.

one silly question

I used to play NTSC games on my PAL wii with backup launcher like Zelda 1:1 since PAL version gave me a disc read error *sigh*

Will this brick my wii if say i had to load it through the original channel and wii gets an update?

an NTSC update on a Pal Wii is like putting water into a car instead of petrol (gasoline)
It still goes in , but nothing will work afterwards and its almost impossible to get it out again.

use brickblock on all non region games before burning to avoid bricking

The trouble isn't related to wii system updates, but if you update the backup loader will be completely useless. So don't update at all;
