I fail to see the logic in which we are all selfish. Some of us are willing to help wiigator with thing like compatibility and what not, which would be NOT selfish. You seem like all you want this for is for piracy, a lot of us are using this for back up's, not piracy. To be Honest, I don't even have much of a clue of what you're trying to say.

Why would Animal Crossing matter? If they indeed try to stop it, I can make my own 1:1 copy and play with that. I plan to buy the bundle that has the mic, so I just have to remove the updater from the copy and use the new launcher.

Most likely. I'm not just going to download the loader, tell wiigator that it took to long and just never say anything constructive about it or just make a bunch of topics asking how to get a single game working, though. Unlike most of you people, though, who I know will.

Either way Wiigator shouldn't make it public.
Rather he should just expand his beta testers group.

If he made it completely public 90% of the people who use it would just complain and not give any constructive info or details.

People are going to complain no matter what that's life. Look at this thread, it's half full of people whining about one thing or another. So what would change really?

More people have the beta, more people are testing, more whiners, and more results. you take the good with the bad.

He has based that on the amount of people helping with the present boot loader. Have you helped anyone ?

no WiiGator's BU-Launcher wasn't leaked he means Waninkoko's BU-Loader, and i'm sure alot of people aren't really keeping AS close of an eye on this project seeing how the update screwed a lot of people and now they're looking for a fix

personally i would love for him to release the beta asap so we can iron out the bugs quicker but i could live with waiting

I tried, I posted something about a bug in Pokemon Battle Revolution on the "compatibility topic" but no one listened to me... so then I gave up =l
But I think 10% would be a great help... better than 0% (except the beta testers), isn't it?
And the topics talking about problems with the loader... that would be cool and could increase the speed of finishing a perfect loader =)

I love how the majority of beta testers posting here are like 'WOW 0.3 IS AWESOME, GAIZ! IT WORKS GREAT AND IT'S STABLE AND FAST AND BASICALLY ORGASMIC!11' ... yet still no release! I mean it's clearly a usable, stable product - why hold off on releasing it for a few minor finishing touches... or is there something we aren't being told?

What exactly is preventing the release of 0.3? We understand it's a beta by virtue of it being a decimal version. Most reasonable people aren't going to install it and say 'XX THING DOESN'T WORK FIX IT NOW FIX IT NOW YOUR SOFTWARE SUCKS!' People are going to say it, sure, but the people that matter won't. There will be just as many people offering bug reports, if not more - not everyone is ignorant.

Unless there's real danger of damaging hardware, I don't see a reason why there shouldn't be a release now. Everyone here's frothing for it, it's obviously more or less finished save for a few things that he's having trouble nailing down ANYWAY. Widening the audience would mean more bug reports, and possibly more ACCURATE bug reports and thus a faster path at making a better product and fixing these things. Besides, all homebrew comes with a 'YMMV' sticker on it anyway by default. It's unauthorized code - it's not supposed to be run in the first place. We understand, as a community, that it might/will break.

It's ridiculous that it's being held back like this and the only other possibility is that it's a joke to get back at us as a community for the original loader leak which is entirely immature and not fair, as it isn't our fault as a whole that it happened.

hey guys! well the new wii system update is out and i hear it is blocking wads and the installation of homebrew channels... how does this effect the backup launcher, should i update. I figure no... since... i havent updated ever since 3.2U.... and there is absolutely nothing great about updating since nintendo does nothing new with the system like it promissed: "We want our customers to wake up every day with something new on their console..." sure....

Actually, keeping your pool of beta testers small gets things done much slower, especially if they're not chosen for their technical know-how. Releasing it to the public WILL attract people with better knowledge of the hardware.

Well, I am ready to wait for the launcher and i encourage everyone to wait so that it is more stable and less errors are produced. Oh , and if u want the launcher u might not want to upgrade.

BTW For those who upgraded can't they just downgrade using the downgrader appication by Waninkoko if they have it installed.
