Thats the thing. Some people only will contribute even though there are a mass of people out there using it even though its a public beta. And those that do have it will complain there games won't work or something else may happen.

Ah, yes, well public beta couldnt hurt i dont think. I mean .3 wont be bugless and perfect, there will be a .4 and .5 and so on until the project is dropped or outdated.

WiiGator shouldn't have a public beta. We all know everyone just wants the beta for there own selfish reasons. I almost got tricked into letting someone use the beta. (They don't though

) It should remain private but this is all up to WiiGator.

there are people that want to actually contribute though, not just to have a faster/better backup launcher sooner... also the final release would come faster, no?

Yes, let him and his crew take a nap, to thing over it and we speak again tomorrow.
I think a public release isn't really the right way... too many noobs and leechers around here.
So maybe he really should just double his beta testers. (If you need one more german, PM me)
Anyway. we should all calm down again and wait for the decision.

Maybe ppc_gba is able to write a lil background app that logs crashes of Games on the SD Card, meanwhile... I don't know...

Well if they charged for the backup loader then nintendo would really have a case. and The fact that this Backup loader has lots of people contributing to it....im guessing its harder for nintendo if they wanna come after anyone...it wont stop them but still....
